I do 5x5 5'8" 305 lbs female. 48%bf I'm working on it... Bench 125 lbs Squats I do timed, not weighted (bad knees) 3 sets of 30 seconds. About 63 squats OHP 8x3 at 60 lbs no deadlifts yet. Will add weight to my squats as I lose more weight

Yeah, basically. You need to decide if you will eat back your exercise calories or not. I do not. I have a ton of weight to lose and I don't want to mess with the progress. Some people do and some don't, but do what works best for you.

You might live in a nice area, but runners around here would have to deal with car exhaust and stuff, so the treadmill would be the better choice. My husband and I used to do a pretty big circuit on our bikes, but a good chunk of it sucked because of the traffic.

Going to the gym is awesome. When you go often the employees get to know you and that's encouraging on it's own. I go often enough that almost everyone who works there knows me. I have to try the brownie batter ones when they come out. let's be reasonable here. If I try them and they were only ok then hey, at least now I know. But If I don't try them then clearly they are the best things ever and there's no way i'll ever be convinced otherwise!!

Costco is around $3 for 18 here in So California, but for my friend in Vegas his Costco eggs are more expensive.

Albertsons (or SupreValu) has a body fat measurement machine in store that you can use for free. It might not be perfect, but it's pretty good. You might want to see if you have one in your area or look it up online. :)

I hate the fact that this is true. I want very cold water now that it's 95 degrees outside, but if my water's that cold I have to drink it slowly. If it's room temp I can down it no problem.

I try to keep my calories on par all the time, but about once a week i don't bother with my macros. Protein is my main macro goal, but sometimes I want pizza and that eats up fat and carbs instead. So if i want pizza i'll sacrifice my protein goal.

Also, if you exercise a lot you might want to raise your calories, but really you need to try for a week or two and see how your body reacts.

The heavier you are the more calories it takes your body to function. As you lose weight you need less calories. When I started I had a higher calorie goal but I adjust for weight loss and the calories I am allowed lowers.If yu have a lot to lose use the 1800 and see if you get results. If you don't then lower the number.…

I have about an 8 lbs weight fluctuation. I just look at the high and the low and as long as at the end of the month the high is lower then the high from the month before then i'm going ok.

I didn't read every response so if i'm repeating someone...opps. Do you use any kind of knee wraps or knee braces to take some of the strain off the knees? It might help some.

If I drank that much water I would kill someone. It's a good number if you are a healthy weight, but I am very over weight and I would never drink that much water. I work out six days a week. 30 minutes to an hour of cardio and then weights. I do pushups, situps and squats. I drink about 60 to 80 ounces of water and never…
