Well, much of the info on how the typical American/Western diet has evolved is pretty interesting. And I do think this could be adapted into a lifestyle change. However, two weeks into the diet I had lost 4.5 pounds, and then gained it back. And, I've been training for a half marathon and the no-carb thing was NOT helping…

My family's absolute favorite meal: HONEY SOY SALMON. I do it a little differently than above: 1/2 c low sodium soy sauce 1/8 c honey 1 lime, squeezed 1 Tbsp dijon mustard Mix up the sauce -- you can marinate if you have time, but honestly, I never do and it is delicious! Place salmon portions in a Pyrex dish, pour sauce…

Absolutely!! I always plan my meals a week in advance. This way, I take stock of what I have on hand, then plan for any meals that can be made out of these items. This reduces waste and saves me money at the store, because when you plan this way, it's amazing how you suddenly only need to buy just a few items instead of a…

That is good advice...I will shake things up a bit now that I feel like my body is at least getting back into the routine. I am strapped for time in the mornings, as my husband and I both try to fit in a run before work, with one of us staying with the kids while the other heads out. I will try varying my runs and see how…

I have a Timex T 5H881 F5 and I love it. It's super easy to program and use every day. And it's much more reasonably priced than some of the others. I would definitely recommend it.

Love this! 1) I noticed the scale was down 1.5 lbs this morning 2) I got to make a nice homemade breakfast for my boys today 3) I had a blast taking them to Sesame Street Live tonight All in all, a good day!

Silence of the Lambs! I love it, but I still cover my eyes and jump around every time I see it!
