  • That data is a great argument. You make a valid and respectable point. From that perspective, I would agree that my numbers are not as stellar as I have argued them to be. My goal then, should be and is to dedicate more time to resistance/weight training (which I have been meaning to do anyway) to adjust my body…
  • So what would be good numbers, then?
  • The results are NOT horrible. If you lose weight, you WILL lose lean weight also. If “Sue” weighs 200 lbs and is 30% body fat, she is 140lbs lean and 60lbs fat. If she drops to 150 without losing any lean she now weighs 140 lean and 10 fat – that’s only 7% body fat – NOT POSSIBLE. At 150, if she was 25% body fat, she would…
  • Just one more thought - I now love to run. Last year I participated in 7 running events (a triathlon, some 5k and 10ks and one half marathon) This year I wanted to do 10 events. I did two 10k races, several 5k races, The Tough Mudder, The Dirty Girl, and The Warrior Dash (all muddy obstacle course races) and have my…
  • Actually I did take body comp tests before and after. March 2010 - weight 182, lean weight 131.4 - fat weight 50.6, body fat 27.8 % Sept 2010 - weight 167, lean weight 124 - fat weight 43, body fat 25.5 Oct 2010 . . . . .weight 154 . lean weight 116 , fat weight 38 . body fat 24.6. I am due to have another one since its…
  • I am 42 and was always overweight. Got up to 260-275 with each of three pregnancies and am pretty happy with my current weight of 161 ish. My hubby and I have been to two local plastic surgeons who gave us similar quotes for the tummy tuck and breast lift/augmentation (after the weight loss - they are two flabby noodles).…
  • Jade - This is the parable I use: I imagine "healthy weight" as a harbor. I used HCG as a "tugboat" to help get my ship to harbor. But was having trouble staying in the harbor and drifted out. Once I drifted out far enough, I couldn't even see to "row" myself back to harbor - so I used hcg to get me back to the harbor.…
  • Comparing meth and cigarettes to Hcg is ridiculous. Again - all I offer is my personal experience and the personal experience of my sister. My sis experienced some hair loss and slight constipation - she took Biotin for the hair loss and continues to take a magnesium supplement if she suffers from irregularity. She went…
  • BTW - lizziebeth - you look GREAT for 52 . . heck you look GREAT for any age! whatever you're doing is working !
  • What if it really doesn't have to be hard? Just because 'everyone' says it has to be hard?
  • My metabolism was not and is not trashed. I put on a little weight in between and since - I am currently at a very comfortable weight and very happy with my results and the method I chose to achieve them.
  • HcG success story. PM me if you want my personal opinion. It works. I am more healthy (and slim) at 42 than I have ever been.
  • "Dieting" or rather "Healthy Lifestyle" eating is easier (or less impossible) when you are armed with knowledge. Simply keeping track of your daily intake may be enough for you to adapt and adopt a few almost imperceptible changes that make alot of difference. You don't sound like a couch potato or a sumo wrestler, but…
  • Wow! Thanks Annette for your story and testimony regarding HCG. and for the support website! Welcome back!!

  • I don't think I am wrong stating the general concensus on diet pills (or any 'diet plan' for that matter) must necessarily involve a lifestyle change following the 'diet' phase or the results will never be sustainable.
  • By the way, Becca, in your signature, the lines: "If hunger isn't the problem, food isn't the answer" has saved me from many a cookie these last few weeks. Thank you.

  • Becca, I wish you wouldn't make derogatory comments about the HCG dieters if you disagree with the HCG diet. We are just people trying to lose weight and be the best version of ourselves that we can be, same as you I imagine. You have a strong opposition to the diet, I appreciate that. But the HCG dieters' enthusiasm is as…

  • I agree completely. I am currently reading/following "The new rules of lifting for women' by Lou schuler (sp) and love it! I lost alot of weight over the summer and I am sure that the weight training is more than partly responsible for my lean mass going up and my body fat percentage dropping. "Go heavy or go home" is my…

  • Anyone who loses weight then expects to go back to their prior bad eating habits is wasting their time. HCG isn't a quick fix, it is a jump start on weight loss and a tool to help people learn to examine their diet. And the HCG plan WILL change your life if you let it . . . as much as any other 'get healthy' plan. carlos -…

  • Depends on the flavored water brand. Watch out for artificial sweeteners, which most of these have. Good Luck! Google HCG recipes - there is a plethora of site and ideas out there !
  • Natalie - I appreciate your non confrontational attitude on the subject and only disagree with on one issue. It is not absolutely true that a 500 calorie a day diet will put someone into 'starvation mode' - meaning that their metabolism slows significantly. After my first round I was eating a healthy 1500-2300 calories a…
  • I don't see anything about an HCG related death. Where should I be looking?
