  • I'd love to be in a team if anyone will have me :) Really need some motivation at the moment, and I think this will be great .
  • Fantastic! Well done. And it's amazing how much easier it is to go on to running the next mile. I remember it took me about 2 months to do my first mile non-stop, but then after another 2 months I could run 5 miles non-stop. Just keep thinking I can do it and remember how well you've done and that will keep you going.
  • I try to stick with gin and slimline tonic or a straight whiskey (I always sip whiskey so it lasts quite a long time). These are about 60 calories a drink. Recently though I've also started alternating my alcoholic drinks with water or a diet coke so I still have a drink in my hand when I'm out, but I'm not wasting my hard…

  • I have the same problem. My husband often works nights so we eat early then he goes out at 7 and i'm alone the rest of the night and found myself picking and snacking. Now I've taken up knitting which i can do whilst watching TV or listening to music, but it keeps my hands busy and because I'm concentrating on that I'm not…

  • Don't have kids PBM is bored at work
  • Not really. I prefer phone calls. PBM: likes Zumba
  • i usually have granola with low fat yogurt and fruit (usually dried apricots or banana). I even have it on the go when I';m in a rush. I put it in a Tupperware box with a plastic spoon and then eat it on the train to work. At weekends I have poached egg on toast , or omelet with mushrooms, both of which are really filling.…
  • My goal weight is 140lb. I have a lovely pair or jeans that I bought when I was last that weight and my goal is to fit back into them. They've been packed in a box under my bed for years, but now they're hanging up in my wardrobe as a reminder every day of what I want. I'm 206 now so 66 lb to go. I have mini goals in…
  • I'm 25
  • I'd say get your favorite altered, and if you've spent a lot on the rest and are worried that chucking them will seem like a waste of money then sell them on ebay. My friend sold quite a few dresses etc online that were too big for her and managed to make about £160. So... no temptation of "it's ok if i got up a size as…
  • Well done - posts like this really inspire me & show us that it can be done! Fantastic achievement :)
  • I used to hate running, but I couldn't afford the gym so it was the most effective, free form of exercise i could do so I started running. I think what I hated was how bad I was at it, and what other people would think of me running. Because I'm not thin and I wasn't very good I kept thinking that people would laugh at me…
  • I'm up for giving this a go. Will be a good motivator as I try and get back into running again. Weekly Goal: 3000 Mon: 1 hour badminton: 420 calories I 20 minute walk at lunchtime: 103 calories = 523 calories today Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur: calories…
  • Sign up for it. I was in the same boat last year when I did my first 5k. I was averaging about 40 minutes for a 5k and was worried about being one of the last, but on the day with the crowd and my husband cheering me on I did it in 33 minutes! I'd picked someone in front of me who I thought was about my speed and decided…
  • Hi would love to be an accountability friend. I'm looking to lose about 70lb. I'm currently 207, but want to get down to 140 so we're looking to go on a very similar journey.
