  • It's nice to know that I am not the only one that feels this way :) It's definitely a new experience for me, sometimes I'm not sure how to play it lol.
  • Hi, I'm 23 as well! I'm looking to get fit after losing weight, I've got about 12-18lbs to go :)
  • Lost 80 lbs and bought a new wardrobe of clothes. But stupidly, gained maybe a quarter of that weight back so need to lose it and get fit for good. My motivation is to lose the weight within 6 months from January, just in time for summer.
  • Feel free to add me. I'm kind of in the same boat, I lost a good amount of weight in 2 years and now I've gained maybe a quarter of it. All my new clothes which I bought feel tighter, I am not going back to +80lbs again. Planning on getting fit now and eating a lot better whilst losing .5lbs a week as opposed to before…
  • If this is a serious thread then don't beat yourself up about it. You had some fries, it's good to indulge once in a while, keep going.
  • Congratulations! The feeling is great isn't it. I'm currently also in a similar dilemma, 34" waist but hoping to get to 32" so just deciding whether it's worth to invest in more trousers or belts lol.
  • Thanks, going to start doing a lot more resistance training now to try and shift the last stone.
  • Just got about 13lbs to shift =D Starting weight: 233lbs Current weight: 167.6 Goal weight: 155lbs - ish Eat roughly 1600 calories a day. I aim to burn about 1000 calories when I'm working out, so consume roughly 2600 calories.
  • LOL thank you everyone. Anyone have a secret to getting rid of stretch marks? :( I think it's time for me to start doing proper resistance training, don't want to end up being skinny fat =/
  • Aren't protein shakes more expensive now because of the addition of VAT? :( But I drink PHD Diet Whey Belgian chocolate flavour, love it. The Nutri Centre in Tesco and GNC stock it. Those are the 2 places I get them from tbh. GNC has always been cheaper though when they have their buy 1 get 1 free offer.
  • Thank you everyone. One other thing I'd like to add, it's amazing how much confidence I now have after the weight loss. I use to be quite an introvert but now it's the complete opposite. For anyone thinking of losing weight, don't think about it. Just do it! Awesome. Good luck with your journey, YOU can do it!
  • Not sure if you're in the UK, but the one here is just 10 calories per tablespoon now :)

  • Have you also kept measures of your waist, hips, chest etc ? That's a better indicator of weight loss more so than the scale.
  • It's actually quite true, a lot of the things you see on 'special offer' in supermarkets are usually processed, carb filled crap which isn't really helpful if you're looking to lose weight or become more healthy. (I'm a student btw).
  • I purchased a Polar FT4 form Amazon for around £55 I've had it for a year now and it's does the job for me. Tells me how many calories I've burnt, tells me when I'm in my fat burning zone, and also saves the calories burnt data in the training files. I will probably upgrade my HRM in the future to a more advanced Polar,…
  • 195.2 No real big loss for me this week =/
  • SW 202.2lbs CW 199lbs
  • In order to hit my macros, I consume protein shakes as I can't seem to get it in my actual food all the time. Currently I'm drinking PHD Diet Whey which is amazing, tastes great yet has the nutrition which helps me feel fuller for longer.

  • Hi there, I'm Jay 21, currently at university studying IT. I'm planning on losing all my weight by the time I start my third and final year at university in September, however it would be amazing if I could do it before that; hence why I am participating in this. I am currently about 202lbs and my overall goal weight is…
  • It's a great show to watch when you need a little motivation. The best trainer on that show is definitely Joey Gloor, the guy with the boom power stance.
  • Bones are definitely not gross, I can not wait to see my collarbones properly. They're starting to appear though =D
  • The answer to your question is very simple... there is no way to spot reduce fat. Here's a great article by Bodybuilding.com - http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/issa72.htm
  • Hello all! My starting weight, which I measured this morning is 202.2lbs. Good luck to everyone =D
  • Hi there! I'm Jay, 21 from England. I am striving to lose 2 lbs a week, so 30lbs by July 1st is perfect for me and I roughly have 50lbs to go or so. My main goal is to lose all the weight by the start of my final university year in September. Plus with this semester nearly finishing I can start working out more and eating…
  • I am currently consuming PHD Diet Whey, you can find it at Tesco/GNC/MonsterSupplements. I think MonsterSupplements do samples, so you may want to take a look at that. I must say it's the best tasting protein shake I've had, is a little pricey too - I paid £22 last time for 1kg bag of Strawberry Delight. If you're looking…
  • A new wardrobe consisting of designer clothes... lol.
  • I'm definitely in. I too have around 5 months to lose it by, I'm currently 211.2lbs and trying to get to 168lbs by summer. Going to be a challenge, but it is do-able!
  • Name: Jay Current weight: 220 Goal weight: 170 What you would like to accomplish in 90 day: I would like to be atleast 190 to 200lbs in 90 days time - so that would make it about half way throughmy journey or so.
  • Hi, I am also a university student. So food budget is quite tight however I've just restarted my weight loss attempt and want to get fit by summer 2012.
