  • Me too! Just what I needed!
  • I did the 1200 calories for 2 years in a row. I would lose 20 lbs in 4-5 months....then end up so hungry that I would gain it all back. I yoyo'ed twice and developed gallstones and had my gallbladder removed. Not sure what caused that. Now I only have about 15 lbs to lose and so I decided to try and do it in a way that I…
  • I got custom made orthotics about 2 1/2 years ago which pretty much healed my plantar fasciitis. They were made of a cork like material and I was told to replace them in about 2 years. I have been feeling some pain in my feet again and I think I definitely need to replace them.
  • I trained for and ran a local 15K for 5 years in a row when I was in my 30's. I wasn't counting calories then but I didnt restrict them in any way. I did eat healthier though without a lot of junk. A few years before I started I was diagnosed as hypothyroid. After a year of replacement meds for my thyroid I still felt like…
  • Interesting video on PBS website about fasting and Intermittent fasting. http://video.pbs.org/video/2363162206/
  • I ride a stationary recumbent bike due to a knee problem. It gets me heart rate up enough for a good workout and is strengthening the muscles of my legs. In 2 months the pain in my knee has gradually been declining and Im able to increase the resistance little by little. It feels like I am doing my own rehab.
  • I had it on and off for 7 years and it totally stopped me from running! I tried everything! Finally I had orthotics made for me out of cork and it finally went away! I ride a stationary bike now and I still stretch my toes back every day. I'm still always afraid of it coming back!
  • I so agree with the fireballs! i don't know why but they really helped me when I quit! Also good idea to increase your fiber intake and drink more water to help prevent constipation!
  • I eat it everyday and don't like it when it turns out too thick. You could try using more water when you cook it . I also add some skim milk when its done and blueberries. it turns out pretty creamy if I add enough water when cooking it.
  • I tried everything until I got orthotics. They were the only thing that worked for me.
  • I saved a pair of skinny jeans and found them the other day. I guess I need maybe 10-15 lbs to lose to fit into them. I made it my goal and my motivation. So yeah....grasp onto that which motivates!
  • I have them. I haven't thought about them in years. Just checked..and YEP..still there! : )
  • Beautiful Beautiful! What an inspiration!
  • Wow that's great! I used to be a runner and I remember that feeling of hitting a milestone for the first time! Such a great feeling!! I am thinking of trying it again soon so thanks for the inspiration!
  • Ugh..plantar fasciitis...I battled that for 7 years and basically stopped exercising for a few years. I tried everything and nothing worked until I got orthotics for my shoes. That was 6 months ago and now I am pain free. Have you tried a recumbent stationary bike? Less weight on the feet and that did allow me to exercise…
