I've heard of heart rate monitor earbuds but haven't used one myself.

I started this program and this week is week 3 for me. I really enjoy it but going to put it on hold while training for a 5K... will probably restart it after the race. I'm too sore after the leg days to get my running in as often as I'd like. I'm not doing the diet plan, just the weight lifting stuffs. Using the app to…

My toes would feel tingly while running until I realized that I tied my shoes too tight. As far as calf and legs, I have no clue.

I eat a plant based diet (my protein powder has bee pollen so I guess I can't technically call myself vegan) and I'm pretty active. Just started lifting and running, also try to get in some other cardio during active rest days. Feel free to add, I log daily and have an open diary. Cheers!

Have you tried lifting weights or calisthenics (body weight exercises)?

I just started lifting 4 days ago and it feels so good! I use bodybuilding.com also but doing the Jamie Eason Livefit program. Looking forward to being healthier and stronger.
-
I just started Jamie Eason's 12 week program and loving it.... great way to build up strength! It's free and tells you what to do on what day and how to do it. :) Good luck! I think a personal trainer is best but free is in my budget.

There are some great programs on bodybuilding.com... I just started the LiveFit one and I had never lifted before!

I love my moisture wicking sports bras. I wear both cotton tanks and athletic styles equally... I feel that the bras are most important in my running wardrobe. I got 'em for around $20 each on Amazon, Champion brand (I prefer buying the ones based on cup size, not s/m/l they seem less accurate for sizing)

Have you done any other cardio cross training? Might help with breathing endurance. I struggled getting enough air while running but doing more cardio on active rest days has helped.

5'7" and my goal is 125... I have a small frame and a short torso so fat tends to hang out in my tummy and love handles.

I was thinking that the Zumba would help my cardio endurance and breathing... but looking like PiYo has greater benefits for a runner.

The only way I can avoid the mindless bad snacking is to just not buy easy to snack on tempting items. No more chips, baked sweets, etc. What I do have available as snacks are carrots, celery sticks, fruit (usually an apple or orange). I'll grab a jerky stick if I want some protein.

I love sun dried tomatoes in mine. :D
