  • You look amazing!!! Keep up the good work!!
  • What a transformation! You look amazing! Happy Birthday!!
  • This was a hard concept for me to get my head around too. The way MFP is set up, you would lose weight eating 1200 calories a day if you did no exercise. The only calorie burning it takes into account is what you burn just by being alive every day. So, look at this way. If MFP gives you 1200 calories a day and you work out…
  • You look great! Are you doing the Dirty Girl Mud Run in Indy a week from today! My girlfriends and I are doing it! I can't wait!
  • When I know I'm going to eat out, I go online and look at the menu. I plan out exactly what I'm going to order. Sometimes you can even get the calorie info off the site. This way, I'm not tempted by anything else b/c I already know what I'm going to order. Salad dressing and all sauce on the side. You control it that way.…
  • This was my problem/excuse for a long time. I have small children, so they aren't in activities yet, which probably makes it a little easier. That being said, when they are awake, they are needy! I work out after they go to bed a 8 pm. It's, most times, the last thing I want to do at 8 at night, but it was that or nothing.…
  • I did for a second, and then I got over it. The way I look at it is, at least I'm out trying to do something about my weight/health. I think most people look kind of silly running, so I don't sweat it too much. I bet I really look stupid sometimes b/c if a really good song comes on, I tend to half run/half dance. I can't…
  • WOW! You don't even look like the same person! You also look 10 years younger! Congrats on your results, they are amazing!
  • BOO!!! My pictures didn't work! I thought I followed the instructions at the top of the page.
  • Thanks to all who replied! I do drink my water every day 26 oz at a time, but just usually forget to log it. I just added Sodium to my dairy today, and I am a little shocked to see how often I'm going over it. I really need to work on that. I think the idea of hiding my scale for a while is a good one. I let the # get to…
  • My baby is 1.5 now. Both of them sleep through the night, so that's not really an issue. When I started working out last year, I was nursing. I know nursing burns calories, so maybe that's why I saw such quick results last time. I'm not nursing anymore. I just made my diary public, (eek!) so please feel free to offer some…
  • What I was doing last time worked. I gained some weight back b/c I quit watching/tracking my calories and hardly worked out at all. If i had maintained what I was doing previously, I wouldn't be in the situation I'm in now. I actually just saw a good post that explained why it's important to eat back exercise calories, so…
  • I did not have to sign a contract, so it's just month to month. I think I'm going to give it a try and see if it's worth the money. If it's not, I will quit and find some place cheaper to go. Maybe after a couple months there I will feel more comfortable about going to the gym on my own and knowing what to do. I feel like…
  • LOVE the pics! I'm doing the Dirty Girl Mud Run in May and I'm SO excited! My 55 year old mother is doing it with me too! I can't wait to get dirty!
  • You look great!
  • These are all great suggestions! Thank you! I agree that if I'm hungry at night, I have not had enough to eat during the day. I guess what I meant was that I feel satisfied after my meals. I do still have calories left almost every day, so I will definitely be eating some of those back after my workouts at night. I love…
  • What an amazing story. Thank you so much for sharing it. Your wife and children must be so incredibly proud of you. You look fantastic. Your ambition is inspiring!
  • You can feel free to add me too! I am a full time working mom of 2 little boys. My oldest will be 4 in a few weeks and my baby is 15 months. My husband and I started doing 30DS after the kids go to bed. It's not what I want to do at 8:30 at night, but it's the only time.
  • I still watch my calories and log them here. I have changed my goals and MFP hasn't changed my calorie intake. So, if the way I'm eating has gotten me this far, how should I change it?

  • My huband and I started it about 3.5 weeks ago. It's the only thing we've been doing so far. We decided to use it to kick start our weight loss. We are about 1/2 way through level 2. It's very hard, but it gets easier so I know it's working and I'm getting stronger. I have lost 6 lbs so far and my husband has lost 10!
  • You look amazing!!!! Congratulations!!
  • My husband has school tonight, so just me and the kids. I will probably have a left over turkey burger and maybe some cottage cheese w/ pineapple!
  • I would order chicken fajitas. Ask for corn tortillas instead of flour and limit yourself to 2 tortillas. Ask for no sour cream, guac, rice or beans. All you'll be eating is chicken, veggies, salsa, and the 2 tortillas. It probably won't be the healthiest thing ever, but it wouldn't be that bad either. Watch your portions.…
  • I agree with you. Once a week is best. I actually took our scale and put it up in the closet so I wouldn't be tempted to get on it every morning. I know myself, if I weigh in everyday and it has gone up a little bit, I would be very discouraged.
  • I'm had a turkey sandwhich on wheat bread with red pepper and jalapeno hummus instead of mayo, lett, cucumber and slice of reduced fat Sargento cheese. I had some black bean and corn salsa and a small apple. I'm full and it was good!
  • I have to pump at work too to feed my son. We haven't supplemented with formula yet, but only because I had a decent amount frozen. I almost get what he needs, but we will have to start with some formula soon! Like you, I love the nursing time we get when he's with me, which is the main reason I want to keep it up!! I…
  • Thanks for all the responses ladies!!! My LO is 6 months old, but I would like to keep going with the breastfeeding. I was worried that the exercise would hurt my supply, but it's been ok so far. I have tried everything to keep it up, oatmeal for breakfast, I drink TONS of water, I tried Fenugreek, but it didn't work for…
