If you have no energy from low carb I am not sure protein shakes would be the answer (altho I do have one every day)...you would prolly be better to add some carbs....maybe try some oats

They are not readily available where I live so I buy them from iherb.com.

Unless your vegetarian or vegan or have a medical, issue there is no reason to cut out dairy.
-
I would break it up...calculate an approximate of the Brie...the bacon...the bread...and any condiments and then add each item individually

I love quest bars and have one most days and think they are perfectly fine. I dont have them as my lunch tho...I have one each afternoon for a snack.

Depends on your personality and what you enjoy the most i think. I do both. I love classes cos I dont have to think and I strive to keep up with others, but I also like my own workouts as they are designed specifically for me. I do group fitness classes two days a week and the rest of the week do my own thing :)

Unless you have a cholesterol issue they are a great food to have (and if you have a cholesterol issue you should prolly speak to your doctor)

I lost 200 pounds...then gained back 60 pounds...back losing again...feel free to add me :)
-
I tried a lot of things ...the only thing that worked for me was orthotics fitted by a podiatrist.
-
I wouldnt do anything that impacts it. I had bursitis in my hip just a few weeks ago...my trainer wouldnt let me do anything with my legs....no squats nothing....we did all upper body work....within 2 weeks i am completely pain free...its better to rest and not make it a long term injury

I do do calorie cycling but I never would if eating only 1200 calories if thats going to be what you eat I would eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day(and I have no idea if that is enough or not for your goals). I do 1500 calories a day...the lowest cal day is 1300 calories and highest is 1800 calories, a lot of people dont…

Oats, protein powder and cold milk :) yum yum!
-
Id agree with quest bars....I also like greek yoghurt and i mix flavoured protein powder in it...goes like a mousse consistency :) Also if tired of peanut butter (which i dont get! lol) try some other nut butters.
-
All protein powders have calories....unjury simply says it has no calories from fat...1 scoop of the chocolate has 100 calories as per their nutritional label which you can see here: http://www.unjury.com/reg/unjury-chocolate-splendor.pdf

Calories first then I look at all macros and try to balance them out the best.

I didnt go see my doctor for blood tests etc before i started losing weight but looking back now i wish I did (that said I weighed 380 pounds so in a different category) i get them done regularly now as i discoverred i am iron deficient.

I have PCOS but am not insulin resistant. I found I needed to eat slightly under what online calculators recommend (I'm 230 pounds and eat 1500 cals)...I found for me exercise is vital....when I don't exercise regardless if I eat 1200 cals or 1500 cals the losses seem to stop. I try to exercise 5 times week. I do try and…

Yes...only about 4 months ago...I am back running on one but everytime I go on one it scares the crap out of me lol

At 28.83% and weighing 60.05 your body fat weighed 16.99 kilos....at 24.6% body fat and weighing 62.25 kilos your body fat is 15.3 kilos....so you lost just under 1.7 kilos of body fat but your lean mass has increased...this is not just muscle...but also tissue, fluids etc.

I am 46 and never had children and did get told because of that my PCOS and endo that it is likely worse cos of never being pregnant. I had a D&C (twice - ten years apart) to help with that. It definitely improved things after the first D&C the second one helped too but the first one had more impact. I have also had a…

The simple answer is eat more. You would be nutrient deficient as 300 of those 800 calories is soda. I am sure you know the general idea of good eating. You simply need to eat more. Some high calorie foods tho are things like full fat dairy, avocados, olive oil, nut butters etc.
-
I use protein powder, quest bars, full fat dairy, chicken breast, eggs, tuna. A good idea for high protein and fairly low calories is some greek yoghurt and mix protein powder into it....it kinda comes out like a flavoured mousse texture.

I am similar to you, I lost 200 pounds (started at 380 pounds) and then regained back about 60 pounds. I work out 4-5 times a week...and eat well but my losses can be very erratic too...I recently went for 5 weeks without movement on the scales (they started moving when I lowered the calories slightly), my belief with PCOS…

Having a lower body fat wouldnt improve the elasticity of the skin so I would be dubious of how true that is. I have seen stories on it on the internet too in the past. I have lost 150 pounds and still have about another 50 pounds to lose...I do have loose skin and will end up with loose skin....it partly comes down to…

I have PCOS and dont take any medications (last time I was tested I was not insulin resistant but am being retested tomorrow or day after) My weight loss is slow...and sometimes a bit crazy....but I have still managed to lose 150+ pounds....that said I started this weight loss gig in 2006 (life has got in the way quite a…
-
I always prelog the night before....otherwise I would not hit my macros as well as I do. If I change my mind about any foods I always update my diary before I eat anything to ensure I still hit my macros :)
-
I am aiming to lose 200 pounds....im down about 150+ pounds at the moment. I started weight training after I had lost about 50 pounds....reason being was I was uneducated....didnt really know anything about weight training. Also it was a struggle to even walk to the letter box....it was once I was a bit fitter and had the…

Before I lost my weight it was always bought up,,,,,but now its only bought up if I bring it up :)
-
I always weigh with a food scale.
-
I aim to hit at least 85 grams of fat a day and like someone else mentioned I struggle to get it up there....its usually a good thing to get your fat up, but if specifically trying to keep it low I would use low fat dairy products and avoid things like avocados, olive oil, nut butters etc.
