Simply awesome. Thank you.

I'm in the market for one too. I'm going digital but I want to avoid ones that have the type of "memory" that will give you the same weight as your last weight if you're within a certain range. So for example, if you weighted 100.4 last time, and weighed 101.1 today, it would read 100.4 because it's within that range. I…

@olive - congrats and good luck as you transition! PS - I don't sell the stuff, it was prescribed by a doctor :)

Congrats and best wishes! I haven't had surgery but I've read enough to know it's still difficult and takes work and discipline. Continued good luck!

I would estimate around 325-330 lbs. Right around where I started.

I find it useful in so many ways. Invaluable tool to log food, monitor calories and macros, and get complete picture of exercise/diet combination! Also great way to learn from others and get the benefit of the MFP community.

For years: I had to ask for a seatbelt extension on flights. Couldn't go on many rides when I took my kids to Disney/Universal because I was too fat. Stopped going to the beach or in the pool unless I was only with immediate family. Couldn't wear a tucked-in shirt. And many more. All reasons why I feel motivated to keep it…

Hi Trischa - Good luck to you and ignore the snarky comments like the one above. I will send you a friend request. A medically managed program using Optifast isn't for everyone, but it was a life changing experience for me. There is more than 1 way to skin a cat, but some people don't realize that and participate in a…

Good work!

Quest has low sugar and high fiber - that's tough to find in other bars. To me that's the main difference, although I do enjoy the taste, too

That's a win for sure!

Awesome! Congratulations!

I'm new at it but so far for me it's hard but not as hard as losing. But you're doing it forever (hopefully), where with losing you knew you were working toward a goal and if successful it would end at some point. Still a goal to maintain, but it's different.

Congrats on your success on MFP and love the song! Good luck with it!

Went on a warm weather vacation and felt comfortable walking around in my bathing suit without a shirt on...

I shoot for 30% Carb and 35% for both Fat and Protein but recently I'm usually ending up with more like 35% Carb, 35% Fat, and 30 Protein. As long as my sugar carbs are low I'm not super strict on the 30% Carb, but I will limit them later in the day if I'm getting up there.

I agree! Did the same thing on Thanksgiving and was back down to target range within a week. Enjoy everyone - Merry Christmas!

Some of my favorites over the next 2 days include: * Conch Salad * Stuffed Quahogs * Stuffed Squid Simmered in a Red Sauce * Scallops Wrapped in Bacon * Stuffed Shrimp * Prime Rib * Lasagna Going to enjoy it immensely! Merry Christmas!

Congratulations! Awesome!

For now every morning, but like others I don't sweat minor fluctuations. Helps keep me accountable and I mark it on a calendar so I see the trend over the month.

Well they finally arrived! Really, really good!

Supposed to be on the truck for delivery!

Hi - I eat them regularly and I've never felt lightheaded. Not sure what would cause that?

I plan/hope to stay. Great tools and support, and I think I will need to learn and log for a long period of time to be successful in maintenance.

I too am working on fine tuning my maintenance calories. I'm currently at 2,400 and not eating back my exercise calories on a daily basis to give me a little more wiggle room and flexibility for holiday events/meals. I'm 5'11, 220, (17.8 BMI measured by exercise physiologist) and 50 years old.
