To the OP - way to get back on track. I too find it easy to fall back into bad habits and still think about food as a reward. It's a battle to not constantly deny yourself but also not lose control. Good luck!

Easy to fit Sailer Jerry and Diet Coke into my plan, harder be disciplined with food after a couple of drinks. That's my biggest issue when I drink.

Hi - Even without knowing anything about your weight, in my opinion you're doing way too much exercise for the amount of calories you are taking in. Even with the extra shake. Also when I did Optifast I was seen by a doctor weekly. had blood work done periodically, had nutritional counseling, etc. I was told to do light…

Great work and good advice. I find it's a battle no matter how much I try to change how I "naturally" want to eat. So easy to fall into bad habits. I find it to be work. But the alternative is far worse.

I'm almost a year into maintenance and I still need and want to log. I sometimes use "quick calories" to estimate in situations where accurate/detailed logging isn't practical. I don't think there's a wrong answer here. It's whatever works. For me logging works. I'd rather be told I haven't learned much than stop using a…

Some great advice here. Posts and responses like these are why MFP is so worthwhile to help us with our challenges.

http://www.busybuthealthy.com/homemade-quest-protein-bars/ Thanks for sharing Hearts_2015! Just ordered the Vitafiber Basic Syrup on Amazon and look forward to trying some recipes. Hopefully I can come up with something fairly edible with similar macros at a better price than Quest (and more accessible). We shall see.…

Mixed Nuts in the shell so I can earn them :) Pistachio's, Walnuts, Almonds I love nuts! I don't mind the fat, just wish they had less calories and salt

I'm nuts about nuts too

Rhode Island has it.

Hi - You and others looking for some additional friends can add me. I've been in maintenance for about 3 months. My diary is open to friends.

I'm in maintenance. I connect my Fitbit to MFP, log my exercise in MFP, allow for negative calories adjustment in MFP, and try to eat at a couple hundred calorie deficit to give some leeway for weekends or events. I plan around my TDEE and can adjust from there depending on activity level. It's been working well for me.

Thank you BRaye!

I had to look. Mine is 210. I was up to 330. Now at 224. That weight must not have changed since I got my license way back in 1980

Great post and responses. Thanks for sharing. I have the Fitbit One and recently linked it to MFP. I use a TDEE range daily but find it useful to see the combined MFP/Fitbit data.

@callsitlikeiseesit - thanks for the link. I'm going with that one. Basic and good reviews.
