  • Thanks guys! I don't recall what happened that day...I think I took a pill and knocked myself to sleep. I will keep those references for when I feel down. Hugs all
  • I have already messed up my abstinence, but proudly taking steps to do better with the support of HP and others. Progress not perfection.
  • No Have you ever pet a pit bull?
  • Within reason I don't care what you are wearing. You could be naked and it wouldn't phase me. Things that are unsanitary is a different story, do not wear lady gaga's meat dress for example!
  • Don't forget the 12 promises of OA. When I was in a different support group I found it was good to read the promises everyday, it gives the best pick-me-up. Now, get off that sinking sad ship and pull into happy harbor!
  • Wow Michelle that does sound great. Grok, How do I find the podcasts?
  • 3 things I like about myself physically: 1. I love my big nose :0) 2. When I smile at myself playfully in the mirror it always makes me happy, so I love that! :-D 3. I love my body. Although I am trying to lose weight and make it hotter, I do think it's hot. ;) I would do me. LOL
  • Currently at 15 situps, 15 squats, 1.5 mile walk, 15 stretches, 15 bicep curls, and losing weight. Thanks engodwin for posting this. I wouldn't have gotten started exercising at all without it. <3
  • I have been vegan for over 2 years, and not looking back now! Have found great replacements for the things people think it is impossible to find good replacements for: eggs, cheese, AND bacon. (Tofu with black salt, the Uncheese cookbook, and Dulce). I feel healthier than I ever felt, with constipation and stomach pain…
  • Awesome idea. I will keep it in mind for when I feel I need to add a fun new twist to my squats. The yogis say you should do a plow once a day anyway, this would be a good way to sneak one in real quick. ;)
  • This challenge has been forever morphing for me, and is morphing once again. It has gone from 10 situps and 10 pushups a day, to an additional 1 mile walk and 10 squats also. Then due to back pain, it changed into 10 situps, 10 squats, a 1 mile walk and 10 minutes of stretching. Now that all of that is less of a challenge…
  • I can't believe it! I have actually stuck with this challenge. Woo hoo! :)
  • Third day and sit-ups are getting easier, as in I can get my hands nearer to my head now. Still pain and hand numbness from push-ups but hoping that will go away in time. Taking it easy, and the 20 (not doing a full 100,sorry guys) is going by a lot faster. I can definitely feel the burn in my arm muscles. A little…
  • Ouchie! Wrist pain and numbness all up my arm! This helped a lot http://reembody.me/2013/10/05/sore-wrists-during-push-ups-lets-fix-that/ Also, when I wore a neck brace during sit-ups my body just flew up toward the wall! Neat!
  • Anything with dairy causes me acne. Whey protein has dairy product. Hubby and I use "Sunwarrior, Raw Vegan, Protein" I really like the chocolate & it tastes really good. Huge difference from the other natural/vegan proteins which most all taste like little rocks in your mouth. yuck.
  • I think that you should do what is right for you. I work by the philosophy "If you aren't sure whether or not to do something, don't" but, if I were you, at the end of the day I might be exhausted, feet hurting, back breaking, and after eating 100 onion rings and elephant ears, it might bring comfort to log it, and…
  • I couldn't seem to get myself started on this challenge. The 100 of everything was way too overwhelming for me. Each time I say "OK let's see how many push-ups I can do" and get up from my computer chair, I walk into the kitchen instead. And that, is of course super frustrating and demoralizing, so I decided I'll do the…
  • It is good to know if you have anterior or posterior pelvic tilt. Anterior pelvic tilt can make your tummy and bum look bigger than they really are! For those who have anterior pelvic tilt, these are a few articles I found both humorous and believe they could be helpful. Exercises:…
