Protein powder and acne

So please don't misunderstand, I know how great protein powder is for helping you build and repair muscle, however I was wondering if it is true that protein powder can provoke acne. I do not have problems with acne, but let's face it, whenever we have it, we hate it. So I am wondering if there was a protein powder that does not cause it, or if it even causes it at all. I would love to start using it to jump start my strength training and would like to be informed of all my options beforehand. Thanks in advance :-)

    I haven't heard of that. I've used it for a while too and haven't had any, if that helps.

    I've been using Eas 15 ( prob not the best but it's a start for me) for about 3 weeks now and not a single blemish.

    Anything with dairy causes me acne. Whey protein has dairy product.

    Hubby and I use "Sunwarrior, Raw Vegan, Protein" I really like the chocolate & it tastes really good.

    Huge difference from the other natural/vegan proteins which most all taste like little rocks in your mouth. yuck.
