What I always wonder about is the placebo effect. Most people (who are happy with chiropractic care) seem to have glowing reviews of it. There are very few moderate reviews of it. When attending conferences, you could always hit up a local grocer. Most hotels have mini fridges and you could always buy things that are convenient and decent (like Greek yogurt). Most hotels have gyms. For dinner, you could always get Diet Coke on ice as your cocktail.

Nope and I feel no guilt at all! I tried to cook for SO but he doesn’t eat veggies or fruits so every meal I cook he will turn down. So I don’t cook for him anymore-he’s on his own, I only cook for myself. I’m losing weight and he’s gaining, to each their own

Update: Scale budged. Down another 1.2 pounds. Thank goodness. Moral of the story; it had to be water retention, and I shouldn’t be weighing in daily.

I figured it wouldn’t last and I was ok because it went down to like a 1.6 per week weight loss and then just totally stopped :( maybe it is water weight

I’m working out, losing weight and weight lifting all at the same time. The weight is slowly coming off and at the same time I’m toning up too. It does seem like it reduces the amount of weight I lose, but given that I’m toning up too, I’m perfectly happy with it. The slower weight loss seems to correlate with my gaining…

Halo Top is life. The pistachio and chocolate varieties are best in my opinion. It does need to sit outside the freezer for maybe 10 minutes before eating, just a heads up.

Dog Shame: Went to gym, came back from gym. Yyyeahhh....somebody was a baaaaaaad dog...he literally put himself in his crate because he knows he did something he shouldn’t have. :D

Party it up. That’s what I do when I’m home alone (with pup). Put on music or a good movie, make a really good meal, share meal with pup. I love having the house to myself, best thing ever!!!

Our surround sound system went down so my only alternative is to actually go to a theatre. Ugh. I’m suffering. And my landlord actually has the audacity to interrupt my day by asking if everything is going well, ugh!

Nope, lol. Though my college doc told me back then that it would only get worse with age. Ironically, other than the graying, I look young. Most people think I’m 25, then they watch me hobbling and realize I must be older :D

Hello! Feel free to add me. I’m 30 and working on losing all of my college weight, lol. Start weight: 186, current weight 172-171, goal weight 135. My diary is open, I usually eat a good deal of veggies and some protein but I always get in snacks like popcorn and cookies, etc
