It's all about the tax brackets. To be at 14% with dependents, you would be grossing less than 30k a year.
-
Will Obama and the Senate be included in this tax? Or will they yet again determine themselves to be too important to have to be subjected to the same burdens as every other American citizen?

I'm not sure where I read it... maybe the CDC website, but I don't believe there is a significant amount of difference between HIV and Ebola. I could be wrong on this.
-
This is my belief also. The spread of this disease is not about villagers and their diets. It's about the lack of infrastructure and health policy in underserved nations like those in Africa. Most of the areas affected lack running water and access to medical care. So essentially, the things that would combat the disease…

Way to teach her how to be accountable for her own health and fitness.

Flagsters... you know, like hipsters. Because they think its cool to flag people.

I know you posted this awhile ago, and someone is likely to have already made this suggestion, but it's time to go to the doctor. There could be some endocrinological issues at play here.

I've always been curious about bread fruit. I have heard of it but have never seen it anywhere. No idea if it would classify as Paleo.

So then the rattlesnake wasn't vegan?

There is so much innuendo that can be taken from the title and the OP... I just can't...

Okay. But you have to account for what your body needs now. Not what it needed before. Just an FYI, even at an overweight BMI, it is not recommended to follow VLCD. Notice that I said in my post that it is a dangerous game to play with your body if you are not morbidly obese. You were never morbidly obese.
-
Okay... this was what I was looking for right here. You are within range of a healthy BMI. You do not need to do rapid weight loss or VLCD's to get results. It is a dangerous game to play for individuals who are not morbidly obese. It doesn't really matter if you want to fast or juice so long as you are getting a…

You look fantastic! Very nicely done!

I mean, I can see the point that the article is trying to make. But this study has a very narrow scope. It does not approach at all how health is impacted by crash dieting, only the effectiveness of weight loss. Yes, rapid results can be motivating, but to truly effectively maintain weight loss, you have to be motivated to…

I think the concern here is while ebola is a contagious disease, the transmission of the virus is far less troublesome than airborne viruses like influenza. Also, ebola is easily killed with disinfectant. This isn't a super-virus that we are ill-equipped to handle. The spread of this disease in Africa is far more prevalent…
-
Actually, they have been working on a vaccine for ebola since before this recent outbreak. I'm not sure how close they are to distributing it though.

Personally, I avoid the "spice blends" and stick to combining spices on my own.

Here is the thing that people fail to understand about nutrition. A healthy diet is comprised of a variety of foods, as well as a variety of proteins. Too much of anything can tip the balance of a well-balanced diet and have detrimental effects. Vegans generally aren't vegan for the sake of health benefits. And it is…

This is posted in a general forum. If this recipe isn't intended for a general audience, then shouldn't it be in a group forum? I'm not shooting the messenger. I'm just questioning the subjectiveness in the terminology.
-
So why not call it "Low-GI" Fried Rice, instead of "healthy?" Inserting the subjective term "healthy" implies that this fried rice is somehow superior to its white rice counterpart.
-
Forgive me if my math is wrong, but 40 kg... that's 88 lbs, correct? That is not a healthy weight for a grown female. It may be time to consider that you might have an eating disorder.

Happy Birthday!!

This sounds delicious! I definitely want to try it.

Good point. Perhaps feeding the food to the dog was a cover story...

I'm sorry... but I wasn't particularly mentally and emotionally capable of coming up with solutions at 21 either. It is what it is.

I work for government. I have held two different positions. One office had an *kitten* like the one you have described in it, but the one I'm in now doesn't. Actually, my former co-worker was far far more of an *kitten* than this. I can recall him telling another coworker, after recovering and returning to work from a mild…
