Leftovers. I usually make enough dinner to provide a meal for the next day.

Thanks so much folks. I guess I should've included a bit of background or stats or something. lol I'm 6' tall and 43 years old. I love the "you look younger comments!" Thanks for those! Starting weight was 305 Today I hit 220 Not sure of a goal weight because I've never been really fit and thin so I'm just going to see…

Well, I've followed the directions and it still isn't working for me. Weird.

Starting with a 8-15 lb is decent, depending on your strength and if you're used to working out and such. My best advice, If you can, take a class to learn proper form rather than learning from a video.

I have a great traine! Best money I have ever spent and will stick with him for as long as I can! He is knowlegable, listens to me, designs programs for my goals and takes great care of me. That said, not all trainers are great. I've watched many others in the gym who are uninterested in their clients. If you're going to…

During the week, 1 cup of cottage cheese and an apple or a cup of berries. Weekends I usually have a couple eggs and toast or an omelet.

He vas my boyfriend! Stay close to the candles... the staircase can be treacherous.

I replaced the battery in the strap unit as well. Perhaps your contacts aren't clean... try rinsing it well. Or possibly the contacts aren't making good enough contact. Tighten the strap maybe or make sure it's wet enough? By the way, I ordered a battery kit for my FT7 which included a new o-ring to seal out moisture.

NOt sure but I think it depends on the model. I have an FT7 and changed it myself.

Oatmeal and cereal and such don't work for me. It doesn't keep me full. And I'm not a fan of eggs either. Try some protein. I usually eat a cheese stick, some black bean hummus on half a whole wheat pita (for a bit of carbs) and a turkey sausage. I also really like cottage cheese and yogurt with some fruit in it.

Fitting into a pair of workout pants that I haven't used in two years. And, having enough room in them to actually work out in!

I guess I never really noticed a split in my gym when I started lifting. As far as being intimidated, I didn't pay attention to anything like that because lifting was just part of my committment to get healthy... who cared if it was only guys around me. The guys there have always been really supportive, especially once…

I just use a backpack.

I like my Polar FT7. The strap is adjustable. You input all of your stats in before starting. I also like that you can track your workouts on their website if you buy the flo-link.

I have a ton of them and choose a different one to use during my workout every day. Pain is weakness leaving the body Rest when you’re dead Squats are better than supplements Suck it up buttercup Punish your weakness That’s not sweat. It’s my body crying. I don’t use machines, I am a machine Every time a girl deadlifts an…

Hi Karen! Welcome to MFP. I'm a Minnesotan as well. Feel free to friend me. Where in MN are you?

For a fake general tso chicken, I grill up some chicken breast, blanch some broccoli and throw it in a frying pan with just a drop or two of sesame oil, scallions and a couple tablespoons of LeAnn Chin's Peking sauce. Yummy stuff!

Yum!
