  • because it's the devil!! LOL >:) i don't eat it b/c i think it made me fat.
  • i do not eat anything before i work-out; i work-out in a fasted state after having not eaten since about 16 hours before i hit the gym. i used to "have" to eat before i worked-out but since i got serious about IF'ing, i quit eating before. it's personal preference.
  • stick to the BRAT diet: Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast (dry) no dairy or meat ok, i'm editing here...you said foods without high carbs or sodium but you put a question mark at the end, so i thought you were asking if that was the types of foods you were supposed to eat...but perhaps you were asking specifically for foods…
  • they do have alot of vitamins and potassium, etc. so they are nutritious, but if you can't eat them, then just don't. i don't really think there is a "replacement?"
  • i have pre-workout, post-work out and misc.
  • this is not a diet, but i remember once when on MFP years ago, i was "over" on calories, so i did jumping jacks in my bedroom until i was able to get a green number!
  • they are so easy to clean. use a food scraper to get off the larger things that might have been stuck, then apply regular salt liberally. use a paper towel with a bit of water and everything will wash away easily. dry on high heat on the stove, then grease with a bit of olive oil after it is cooled. i use mine every day.
  • i like to drink Spark by Advocare (yes, i know most people do not like their products or sales people) because it gives me energy with no crash after. i also don't feel a huge RUSH of energy like with caffeine. the grape, cherry and pink lemonade flavors are my favorite. i drink with 9 oz of water about 30 minutes before i…
  • i typically only plan one day at a time. tonight we're having thin chicken cutlets topped with swiss cheese alongside broccoli slaw saute'd in coconut oil. yesterday we had homemade red beans & rice with sausage + sourdough bread. (crock pot)
  • they look really good. i will try! TFS
  • i'm in texas and we use cheese on our chili, too. and sour cream! YUM!
  • i just started doing that and i love it. it is so much easier for me b/c i'm already "stuck" to eating what i have logged. so far, i haven't had to make any alterations.
  • i do not use non-stick pans. the only ones i use are iron. they are great + add iron to the foods you cook.
  • i am allergic to soy so i can't have mayo; i found HAIN canola mayo as a sub but if you're looking to cut calories, it's the exact same nutritional information. personally, i don't mind the fat/calories, i just fit them into my daily allotment.
  • my nike fuel band died right at 3 years of use. i really need to get a new one b/c i LOVED it!
  • if everyone would stand up for themselves and leave, there would be no show. unfortunately, most of the show is comprised of people with little to no self-esteem and sadly, they simply can't leave. it's sad for them to be taken-advantage-of.
  • my brother is the same way. he eats from the time he wakes up until the moment before he goes to bed at night. he stays within calorie goal, but probably eats every 1-2 hours. he's a grazer, and in excellent shape/health.
  • wow that sounds great. i might have to try this one. i prefer white if i'm cooking it myself, but at chipotle, i say BOTH PLEASE! (along with both beans, too!)
  • i think it's important to track exactly where the problems are coming from, and sometimes it is from gluten, and other times it is from other products in a food. we thought my daughter had problems with peanuts b/c she had so many issues when eating peanut butter sandwiches or peanut butter cookies; come to find out, she…
  • i just went... dark red kidney beans sausage (uncured with no additives) sourdough bread raspberries blueberries strawberries Nada-Moo "ice cream" beef jerky mixed nuts cheese sticks (both cheddar & mozzarella) bananas avacado can tomatoes (like Ro-Tel) sweetened almond/coconut milk breyer's vanilla bean ice cream van's…
  • my daughter hated them, but then again, she hates almost everything. LOL we got the flintstones brand b/c she takes the regular flinstones "hard" vitamins. i don't really know anything about additives and not sure if they have any for adults. sorry, i'm really no help! LOL ;)
  • LOL this is what i thought it was going to be! :p
  • you could use a dry rub instead of liquid, or add lemon juice with some balsamic vinegar or rice wine vinegar and some olive oil.
  • everyone is different. i personally do not eat them all back, but everyone does it their own way. i eat a certain number of calories per day and some days i eat more because i work-out with weights, but i do not eat every calorie that i have "earned." on days i do cardio only, i do not eat back any.
  • i love beef jerky, a protein shake, cheese, etc. i do typically eat more on a work-out day, but i dont' eat back my exercise calories.
  • i would choose a time when you feel the most comfortable weighing and then weigh at that same time every day. i personally like to weigh after i've been up for about an hour, but before i eat or drink anything. i feel "lighter" at that time of day but of course i'm probably not! LOL anyway, consistency is the main factor,…
  • i dont' understand your point. how are you to determine if you're eating too much if you dont' count calories or weigh your food?
  • i'm sorry to blame age, but it seems like the older we get, it truly is more difficult to lose. i lost NOTHING for months of trying. i finally had hormone testing and found out that i have a pituitary tumor which is causing my thyroid to be "off" as well as i am in early stages of meno. i'm the same height and weight as…
  • only intentional work-outs such as weight-lifting and cardio on treadmill, etc. sometimes i might log a bike ride, if i pull my daughter in the bike trailer, but a normal bike ride i do not b/c i do it so frequently. if it's part of my daily routine, i just consider it life. my cousin used to log cooking a meal, cleaning…
