  • I'd like to join!
  • It's been this way since about June of last year. I was put on an acid reducer (prilosec I believe) and took it for about 3 months before deciding to quit because it wasn't helping. It could be genetic I suppose, but if it is, I'm coming into it rather late lol
  • I'm relatively certain of the calories I'm eating. I've lost more weight in the past 10 months than I've ever lost in my life and I'm also at my lowest weight since I went through puberty nearly 10 years ago. My weight loss is only just now starting to plateau
  • I've been thinking about maybe trying to handle those meal replacement drinks.. I had quite a fondness for them when I was younger which actually led to me gaining about 40 pounds over the course of one summer hahaha. I'll definitely give it a shot! And I'm meeting with who I hope will be my new GP as soon as the school…
  • I'm only 4'9, 95 pounds is within my healthy range. That is a good point, my speed has hardly increased at all and it could definitely be from a lack of fuel. I just don't know how I can force myself to eat more than I already am.
  • I'm definitely in the works of getting a new doctor, which is why I haven't followed up on the issue for some time. Usually I can only stomach raw veggies and even that can get hard.
  • Just my base number of calories. I could never eat back my exercise calories, it's hard enough just to get the bare minumum lol. It's usually only up to 300 calories a day that I'm short by, so maybe it isn't a big deal but I don't have that large of a calorie allowance to begin with so it seems like a lot. Yep, I'm still…
  • This isn't recent for me, it's been this way for over a year. My doctor thought it might be gastritis, but I went on meds with no change and he's decided to do no further followup.
  • My calorie goal is around 1300, but I usually can only get myself to eat about 900 - 1000 a day. I honestly don't know what it is. It's the idea of eating it and the smells and the texture all combined I guess. I'm just within the healthy weight for my height. My goal is 1200-1300 but I often fall around 200-300 calories…
  • Short problems hahaha. I've just always been so scared to try weight lifting, even though I KNOW it won't make me bulky, there's a little voice in my head that tries to convince me otherwise lol. I'll have to give it a shot though. I'll do anything to get out of this plateau!
  • I'll definitely get a food scale and try working out some more! thanks! 18 pounds just seems like a lot to me because it's my exact half way point lol. I'll try working out more, thank you!
  • It's pretty much #1, I'm small already but still have a stocky build I want to slim down and I'm sedentary while at school.. I imagine I'll have to recalculate my TDEE once I'm finished for the year because I'm much more active during holidays. So I should only be subtracting 250 from my TDEE? I still have pretty far left…
  • My TDEE is 1355. That's maintenance then, right? So how much would I need to eat to lose weight? I admit that I'm maybe not logging 100% accurately, but I'm within 100 calories of what I estimate per day because I eat the same foods everyday that are prepackaged by my university cafeteria. The only differences there would…
  • Thanks! Some of these apply to me, so I'll definitely start doing them!
  • Thank you! That's what I'm concerned about as well. I already seem to be eating very small amounts and I'm worried about eating even less, even though that is what my TDEE says to do to lose weight
  • That makes a bit more sense, thank you! My numbers are still really low though. For example, to lose one pound a week, I would need to be eating 855 calories a day, which is below mfp's recommended daily value. Can my caloric intake really be that low and I'd still be healthy?

  • Hey, I've run a 5K before and my next goal is a 10K. I've only been running a few months. Feel free to add me :)
  • Hahaha I'm actually a little bit scared because after the 5K I did last year, I lost all motivation to continue running even though I had a great time
  • 11/1 - 2.94 miles 11/2 - 1.32 miles 11/3 - 2 miles Total: 6.26/30 I convinced myself to sign up for a 5K. Hopefully I can beat my time from the 5K I did last year
  • 11/1 - 2.94 miles 11/2 - 1.32 miles Total: 4.26/30 Only went for a jog around the track today.. ugh
  • 11/1 - 2.94 miles If I had known I was so close to three I would have ran around the block or something :# Total: 2.94/30
  • @chandramiller68 alright, I'm glad to hear it! It's nice to have someone to fight this battle with :) my biggest issue is for sure going to be motivation haha
  • Since I'm not a HUGE runner yet (even though I want to be) I'll go for 30 miles this month Lmao my amount looks so weak compared to everyone else's :#
  • Hey, I'm a 20 year old university student. Feel free to add me for mutual support :)
