  • Hi, I'm Heather! I'm a SAHM to Patrick, who will be 2 in April, and Ella, who was born 1/1/13 :) While Patrick no longer sleeps with us (well, most of the time), Ella definitely does. We are nursing on-demand and supplementing with formula (she had blood sugar issues, so we are supplementing until we're out of the red…
  • Happy Friday to you, too! Sorry I;ve been MIA ladies, but Patrick (6 weeks!!) decided sleeping just isn't for him. I think he's cutting a tooth, already!! We have a pedi appointment in half an hour for it. It's been rainy and miserable here all.week.long. My exercise has consisted of wearing the baby around the house…
  • DS is 5 weeks, weighs almost 10 lbs, and is still in his newborn clothes.
  • Hi! I'm a new mom as well to a 5 week old baby boy. I gained 40lbs. during my pregnancy, lost all but 4lbs of it, but I want to lose that plus another 30 lbs. I agree with Marieeeve1976 about the sleep thing. You'd be amazed by the amount of calories you burn by just simply carrying your baby around during the day. Feel…
  • I'm on w1d2...wanted to go out yesterday, but ended up falling asleep with the baby. Did it today, and it was soo much better than d1 was. I could have gone a little longer, but it started raining, and I had the baby with me. I feel like I'm doing strength training at the same time, pushing a stroller, haha. D3 on Sunday!
  • I'm in Bloomsburg. Welcome! This site is a great motivational tool. I love being able to track my exercise to see how many calories I've burned.
  • Well, I didn't get my run in today because the little guy didn't want to sleep last night, so I had zero energy today. Hoping to get up tomorrow early and get going!
  • I just used jersey cotton. The moby was way too expensive for us, especially since I'm going to have to fork over a good amount for a woven wrap. I'm planning on making a ring sling, too. Just waiting for the rings to come in!
  • I wear my son all the time. I have a long wrap and a short wrap and getting some more fabric to make a ring sling. Patrick loves it and it really helps with his reflux. I spent $15 on my fabric, but I'll probably have to spend a little more for the woven wrap I want. thebabywearer.com is a good resource for all things…
  • Hi ladies! I hope everyone is having a good day! I just had to pop in and share my wonderful night. Patrick not only slept for 6 hours last night, he slept in his crib! That's marvelous for a one month old who always wants to be held. Now if i could just eat without him screaming his head off, we'd be good.
  • I thought I was finished, didn't have any bleeding or spotting for a week, but it came back today. So either My periods are now wonderful or I'm not done with PP bleeding. I think it's normal to have PP bleeding for up to 6 weeks.
  • Hi! Your son is too cute! I'm 4 weeks post-pregnancy, and I started the c25k challenge today. It's pretty much walk/run intervals, and other than it kicking my butt and finding new things that jiggle now, I feel great!
  • oh, trust me, I'm pretty sure I almost died, and now I'm laying on the couch and I don't think I'm moving for a while. Thank goodness my son only weighs 9lbs. ...and the things that are jiggling now make me feel a bit ill to think about ...blehh.
  • Just finished day 1! Oh my goodness that was challenging, especially with the added bonus of pushing a stroller, too. I just barely finished it. May need to do a couple weeks of week 1, hahaha.
  • I'm going to go a bit further into TMI land and say I'm doubling up today. It's been 10 months since I've run because I was on bed rest for the first few weeks of my pregnancy, and I don't remember *totally* what happens when I jog...:blushing:
  • Happy Mother's Day! The little guy and I are about to go on a little jog since it's still cool out, and I see storm clouds coming (boo:grumble: ) This weekend was pretty good. I got to sleep 7 hours in a row. Haha, is it weird that sleeping was the highlight of my weekend? Hi to all the new moms joining us!
  • Hi! I'd love to join you ladies! I had my son April 8th. Started out at 168, 207 at birth, and down to 172 right now...but hoping to lose a lot more than that. And who knew babywearing burned so many calories!
  • Hi ladies! I'm new to MFP and to being a SAHM. My son Patrick is 4 weeks old, and I'm looking to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes, since I hate living in sweats and baggy shirts. I try and do a bit of walking everyday, and have started to try and make healthy food choices for myself, though that is hard when I live…
  • I'm in! I haven't run in nearly 3 years, and I'd love to get started again! Starting Monday!
