I just got this and did day one yesterday. Are you supposed to do it every day as I'm not moving great today if I'm honest :o

I'm in a similar boat, sending a request :)

Fat free yoghurt, strawberries and a broken up meringue nest. Around 100 calories and really sweet to get rid of a craving. It's even nicer with Yoomoo frozen yoghurt and a flake crumbled on top then it's about 300.

I just remembered this topic, and if anyone else is in the same situation I just want to say do it! I love it. I am going to Turkey this summer and booked a few days already. It was a bit of a mission getting in some of the wetsuits they gave me but my first instructor also had weightlifter legs so she had the same issue…

I need to do this, just signed up to do the pretty muddy race for life and can't run to save my life!

Hi, I'm 190 at the moment and also just getting back on track. Not on slimming world but feel free to add me. All add me if you like

Thanks for all the replies! Lots of information here to look at, I will have a good look through.

Hi, I'm 32 too, and I'm a student. Add me  Looking at my friend's list a lot of people are not logging in any more.
-
I live in Nottingham, at the moment!

I have bought sourdough in Sainsbury's and Tesco recently. From the bakery rather than the bread aisle if that is any help.

I appear to be some kind of freak looking at everyone else's measurements  cw: 196 waist: 33" hips: 46" thigh: 28" not done my bust I will add it in later. Safe to say it's on the large side though

Thanks for all the encouragement

The idea of wearing it is not so bad, it's the idea I have in my head of me wrestling myself into probably the biggest one they have in front of a load of men. My main issue is having big legs, whatever weight I have been I have the legs of a weightlifter. Hopefully I'm imagining it to be a lot worse than it actually will…

Update: I am going for a medical next week to get my forms signed, have a booking at a dive school in Spain for July, and am now part excited but mostly officially terrified at the thought of shoehorning myself into a wetsuit :blushing:

Carry a heavy rucksack while you walk, and go up some hills!

I'm in Nottingham too, feel free to add me (anybody and everybody!) I have got rid of 2 and a bit stone would like another 3 gone too.

I can't believe that anyone has said they would be offended by this. If I was making meals for someone and they had told me they didn't want to eat certain things and those things are what I made them every night, then that would be my fault for making them something they don't want. How can anybody not see that? You have…

A good way to get vegetables in when you aren't keen on cooking is to just cut them into similar sized chunks, brush a little oil on if you want to and roast in the oven. I like leeks, carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes and things like that.
-
Nuts and cheese for fats, if you are going to eat the same thing every day I would put some more fruit and vegetables in there. I wouldn't worry much about protein being too high, but if you want to balance it out have a bit less chicken and some veg instead, maybe sweet potato.

I think Bovril is better than Marmite for a hot drink (^for whoever up there said about that)
-
Vegemite is very similar, I prefer it though, I find it just a bit less harsh on the taste buds! I spread it on toast and then make cheese on toast. It is good to use in recipes too as other people said. I think there is a Marmite cookbook.

I'm a student at uni in England, studying pharmacy. Love video games, they don't go too well with uni though :(

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker/home I think that's the right link for a ticker. Tips - add your food to your diary as you go or just before you eat, sometimes when the numbers come up it makes you change your mind! The barcode scanner on the app is good if you have a smartphone.

If you are in the UK I think Davina's DVDs are my favourites.

I'm from Nottingham, 2 stone down, 3 to go!
-
You sound like me. I have a whole bag of jeans waiting for me in my wardrobe! Half of them still have the tags on. I'm not buying any more clothes until they are too big!!
-
You can add me too am in the Midlands, and anyone else :)

I think there would are too many variable to get any sort of accurate estimate, unlike cardio. Best thing to do is wear a heart rate monitor and add the calories yourself, although no use if you don't have one.

Bringing this topic back up as I am finding it very interesting to see all the different goals
