Weights are not factored into overall calorie intake

When I enter what I've done as far as weights. It does not count calories, or deduct from how many total calories I'm allowed to have during the day. Only cardio is counted. Why are doing weights not counted?

I think there would are too many variable to get any sort of accurate estimate, unlike cardio. Best thing to do is wear a heart rate monitor and add the calories yourself, although no use if you don't have one.0

Enter weights under cardio if you want to count the calories. That's what most calorie counting folks do.0

From the FAQs:
Doesn't strength training burn calories? Why don't you show any calories burned for strength training?
Estimating the calories burned from strength training is very difficult because it depends on a variety of factors: how much weight you lifted per repetition, how vigorously you performed that exercise, how much rest you took between sets, etc. Because of this, we do not automatically calculate how many calories you burned from strength training exercises.
However, if you'd like, you can add "Strength training" as a cardio exercise to get a rough estimate of how many calories you burned. Please be aware though that this is definitely a rough estimate and can be fairly inaccurate.0 -
Strength training burns calories big time, but there are so many methods and types that predicting just how much is a big guess. My advice is to look into circuit training, which allows you to count strength training as cardio too and the results are excellent. My personal favorite is reciprocal supersets, upper body on day one, lower body day 2, rest then repeat to 4 workouts per week.0
