Hi, I've been trying to loose weight before uni too :D Good luck on your weight loss goal, feel free to add me, I live in not-so-sunny-England :)

Firstly, If YOU want to loose the weight, then nobody can tell you otherwise. You CAN do it! Its hard having friends who are not as motivated, and promise things that they later cannot keep, but there isn't much that can be done about that. instead you have to keep it up, and stay motivated. At least your friend is still…

Mmmmm sounds yum!

I'm not a twin mum... but I am a twin :P Good luck with your weight loss :)

Try swimming!! You can do your exercise but you don't need to worry about weight on your ankle? It's that or buy a complete series on dvd, or get a new hobby. anything to distract yourself! p.s. You can do it!! (My sister recently sprainer her ankle while jogging, she was exactly the same as you. she ended up doing A LOT…

I've recently started training for 10k, it's very strange, I've found it's not nearly as difficult as the 5k training, which at times I just wanted to give up. I think by the time you can run 3 miles, you get into the swing of things a little, get used to how you run, and then it's just about running for a little bit…

That's a great saying - and very true!!

I use runkeeper.com, it's got an app for phone that uses gps, but if it goes crazy on you while you're out then you can then adjust the route you took on the website after you finish. It's really easy to edit the route you took, and shows it to you in satellite and map form.

You will do it, and you'll do it because you WANT to do it. Say this to yourself and believe it! I know you can do it!!

660 and already had all your meals? Urhm.. Have another meal!! Veggies and meat. yum yum :)

The Tilapia with mango salsa, basmati rice and garden salad looks so nice! I can't resist anything with mangos in! Gave me trouble a few weeks ago, mango cheesecake... Made me go waaaaaaaay over for the day but it was so delicious.

I've measured lots of random foods at home and am getting much better at estimating portion sizes. you could also try taking pictures of certain portion sizes (with reference to something like your hand) so if you're struggling, you can look through pictures and just think, oooh, one portion of cooked rice is about that…

Compare the market on the other hand.. I would totally consider. Meercats are awesome!
-
I hate the "go compare" adverts, where this guy sings really obnoxiously about car insurance. If you've never heard of it, youtube them and see the awfulness. I also dislike the adverts where there's a group of women sitting around discussing their bowl movements. and then some obscure product comes on screen. WHY?!

These look gorgeous!

I weight with a wii fit, but only once a week, with it in the exact same place every time. My results seem fairly consistent. Edit - also I store mine vertical

Tell people you're going running at a certain time, then you'll be more likely to stick to it. It's horrible when people start saying "how did your run go this morning?" and you have to admit that you didn't get out of bed!
-
When people say "oh, she's on a diet" or "how's your diet going?" I'm not on a diet! I'm just changing my diet! and there is a difference in that. I'm not doing things strictly, I'm not avoiding foods, I haven't made a huge change. But I've made a small change that's significant. It's not a short term "diet".

Sent you a f/r, though looks like you've been eating pretty healthy today :P Keep it up!

with runkeeper app on iphone you can put interval training in! GPS and little beeps to tell you when to run, it's what I do :3 when you open the app, click "coaching" and then scroll down to "add new workout", then enter a name and details. e.g. 5 min steady, 1 min slow. (you can also track distance, aka, 1km steady, 200m…

Jaffa cakes.... or fig rolls. I could happily eat a couple of boxes a day. They're just delicious.

Portion control is awesome. You can eat what you want - just maybe not as much of it as you want. Everything in moderation!
