  • I tried it! It was so much fun!! No classes like that in this city though. ;)
  • I'm sorry your gym is under construction! That does make it difficult. I am a struggling college student as well, and I'm even on food stamps because I cannot afford even the food I get. However, I have found cans, one gallon jugs, and heck - even your BOOKS (and as a college student, I know that you KNOW those are some…
  • OMG yes. My husband used to be a very fat guy. 500 lbs, the whole bit. He lost it all, got down to 185, and has now gained back up to 230. So you'd think he'd understand, right? WRONG! WRONG WRONG WRONG! He didn't lose weight because he wanted to. He got surgery, so he could get another surgery (he's got a long list of…
  • Hahahahahhaa. :P
  • I plan on doing the same next grocery trip! The hardest part, I think, will be weaning my husband off of his Orange Sodas that he drinks like water. Actually, that's unfair to say. He doesn't drink water. Ever. LOL
  • I love this game, and honestly...I SUCK AT DANCING. I have no coordination, and I probably just look like a flailing fish out of water when I do it, but that's not the point. The point is I work up a sweat, get a good work out, and have fun while doing it! :) Definitely worth the money spent on it.
  • Hello Robin, from Norman Oklahoma! I'm from Stillwater!! :) Nice to see another Okie here!
  • I am very interested in these answers too! I really like Truvia, and I'm not sure if that's the same or just similar to Stevia.
  • I have to say!! I have NO coordination, and by no (however loose) definition of the word a DANCER. I look so RIDICULOUS when I do my Zumba. In fact, I would say that a child who hasn't quite figured out their motor skills yet would do better than me. But I sweat, and I work out, and I burn sooo many calories looking…
  • Oh God, that is frightening.
  • Wow, thanks for all the responses guys! :) I'll look into that wii game - but I'll need to buy a new sensor bar first. Apparently our sensor bar has broken as some point, because it's just not picking anything up anymore.
  • I knew splenda wasn't the best (still guilty for using it occasionally; I like the taste), and I do use regular sugar MOSTLY in things (or honey - I love honey. Natural honey, not store bought because that's the good stuff). But I didn't know much about the fat free products. What's your suggestion for those of us who…
  • I made the puffs with light butter and fat free cream cheese. They were DELICIOUS and the way I portioned them, they were 14 calories, 0 carbs, 1g fat, and 1g protein. :)
  • TOFU? Cheesecake? That sounds so gross that it MUST be good!
  • You guys had soooo many good ideas!!! Ultimately the clouds won out. The hubby LOVED THEM!! (shhh, don't tell him they had splenda instead of "real" sugar lol)
  • Oooohhhh, that sounds great. ;) Be there at 7. lol
  • Not 100% sure why the image isn't posting? Hmmm....
  • My first tattoo ever, and my husband got it with me. We are both engineering majors, and got married on Pi day (3.14). I know - we're nerds! :P
  • Thanks ladies. :) I appreciate it.
  • I have an empowering, but short, playlist. :) Start out slow: ****in Perfect - Pink Fireworks - Katy Perry Rocketeer - Far East Movement Born This Way - Lady GaGa Raise Your Glass - Pink Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida Sexy Chick - David Guetta ft Akon Like a G6 - Far East Movement Kesha - We R who we R Inna - Hot (Radio…
  • SUPER fun. I'm a BIG girl, and there were plenty of other bigger girls there too. Don't be ashamed to wear shorts (you kind of HAVE to wear them or you'll fall), because everyone else is too! Besides, once you start, you don't even care anymore. You're focused, having fun, and feeling sexy!
  • I LOVED my pole dancing exercise class. It was so BEYOND fun! unfortunately, I moved an hour and a half away, and can't afford to continue it. But I wish they had one here! I have no idea how many calories you burn, but it's definitely plenty. It's fun choice for exercise that makes you feel sexy while doing it! (After the…
  • My fiance (soon to be husband in four days!) and I met in 10th grade, and we were NEVER friends. There was just entirely too much chemistry between us to just be friends. When we got too close, we attacked each other. If we weren't busy with THAT, and we weren't together, we would be so far away from each other it was…
  • Awesome!! It's always a pleasant surprise when you can start buying smaller sizes - really shows you that all your work is doing something!! Keep up up, missy!
  • Wow - I didn't expect so much support and help! There are so many good ideas here...I'm actually excited to try them. Does anyone have a particular recipe they'd like to share?
  • I do drink V8 but that's as close as I've gotten. Smoothies have at fruit aftertaste, and technically v8 does a little bit too. But I think that would be an excellent step into it...at least the fruit taste in smoothies is kinda watered down. Twhen it came to soup I always picked the veggies out. But I will try it with…
  • I never really noticed my feet hurting in the morning. More of just a discomfort, but it goes away throughout the day. Unless I start walking or something - then pain comes with a vengence, and it's mostly in the center of my foot. Feels like I'm trying to tear it apart, and slowly (ouch!).
  • There are no gyms close by in my tiny city, and my apartment complex doesn't have a gym. There is a gym on the school campus (I live in a college town), but I'm not sure if they allow non-students to use it. It would be something I'll look into then. Hopefully I'll be in college there in August, so maybe that will work out…
  • Rikki - Yes, I have been using insoles (trying so many things! Even the new dr scholls have done almost nothing to soften the blow). And no worries! You don't sound patronizing at all. :) Mskees - I was just seeing a family dr. I have to get referred...luckily though, I'm getting married in two weeks and will be switching…
