Here are a few tips to determine if the personal trainer is a good one: 1. Is he or she really going to help reach your goals? Are they willing to listen to your goals and are they honest with you about your goals? 2. Ask if they are certified. If a trainer is going to spend the money to pursue a certificate, they are at…

I had a client once who I trained for a fitness comp. She too has Muscular legs. Squatting is the quintessential leg and butt-building exercise. For the Pear shape girl, traditional squats are ill advised. I caution Pear shaped women to do wide-stance squats or plié squats, shifting the emphasis on your thighs and lower…

I would say 13 yrs old with a parents consent. I did research on this, but I DO NOT advise this. My personal opinion.

Group, I take no offense to any comments on this site. I agree, you have to be careful on who you chose as your personal trainer. I would suggest asking people in the gym first on what they think of the person you are about to hire. I would also get his or here resume to at least see what experience they have training.…

csmith6089, here are some tips for success. Cardio in the morning is best but if you cannot make sure you do NOT eat anything with in 45 minutes of cardio What do you suggest as a daily pre breakfast and post work out breakfast? My clients usually eat about the same meals, 3 egg whites, one piece of wheat toast and a cup…

As far as my experience, I have been doing personal training, bodybuilding competitions and powerlifting competitions since 1991. Also, since I am full-time Army National Guard, I also help overweight soldiers lose weight and improve their Physical training scores. So RV is correct by saying anyone can get certified for…

Per Slice, its about 180 Calories and 3 grams of fat. This is a generous size slice too which means, you can eat this as a nibble towards a binge that you feel is coming on and NOT feel bad about it.

I will give you some advise that WILL work. Normally the belly is the last place that you will notice a reduction. Every where else on your body will tighten up and then after a bunch of cardio and proper nutrition , you will finally start seeing improvements. Trust me, on most people this is an area in which can be a pain…

songbyrdsweet, understand that my information is from a my nutrientionist/personal trainer and NOT by me. This is the guidance for a MALE not a female which I should have posted in the beginning. Your among friends here! You will reach your goal.

Let me stress, 1.0 to 1.5 is for a MALE and only if he is conducting cardio and WEIGHT TRAINING. if you are only conducting cardio to lose weight, you are both correct with the intake of protein and thank you for adding this to the post!

Stress on Kidneys will only happen if you do not drink plenty of water. The fact is most Americans do not drink water enough to help flush out the toxins. Drinking plenty of water along with a high protein diet will help prevent any kidneys issues, but EVERYONE is different. I would assume that the damage would come if you…

Yes, I am correct. 1.0g 1.5g of protein per pound of body weight. This is to maintain.... Now, I what I would suggest though is pick your target weight and recalculate it to that weight. You will get what you need at your goal weight. Stay within that range, and you will lose. (Of course exercise and eating well balanced…
