  • 1. What is the #1 thing/saying/thought/whatever that motivates YOU? "one foot in front of other and GO" 2. What are your plans for the Labor Day Holiday? Ummm.....Texas A&M doesn't get Labor Day off :-) So I'll be at my desk - working! 3. What is something that nobody on MFP knows about you? I want another tattoo....so…
  • I love the idea of wrist tattoos. i want one, but I'm not sure how I'd cover it. i typically always wear a watch, so that might work. I have a treble/bass clef tattoo on my hip area in the front, and its shaped into a butterfly! its really cute and unique.

  • It seems like alot of work, but its really not! I threw some together this morning while I was feeding the cats (which is WAY more work for my little devils - i mean angels :-) ) . I mixed 2 cups of coffee in 8 cups water in a large pyrex container, threw some saran wrap on the top, and let it sit on the counter all day.…
  • You look fantastic! Congrats!!
  • friend me if you want! we can motivate each other!
  • I have this problem every time I exercise. My cardiologist told me that unless you were passing out, throwing up, or experiance pain with the high heart rate, not to worry. He said its more concerning and worth looking into if the heart rate doesn't come down quickly, or you experiance other symptoms with it.
  • I have a Polar F11 HR montior and I love love love it! In fact - its actually helped me potentially find a heart condition, which is never good. But, it might explain alot of the issues I have with exercise. It counts calories, saves your times, lets you set heart rate zones to stay within...I really love mine!
  • Hey! Definitely keep up with the doctor! I don't do that great keeping up with my logs (but I"m fixing that TODAY!)...but feel free to friend me! I need some support too, and we're pretty close in age. We can support each other!
  • I'm in! I just can't seem to stay consistant, and I've never seen any weight loss actually happen...I need tose 5lbs gone to feel like I lost anything, since the scale fluctuates a few lbs all the time! I'd love to be down 15 lbs by December, when I finally earn my graduate degree.... SW: 135 GW: 115 GW for Oct. 1: would…
  • I would like to join in! I don't really late night snack...but I all day snack. Between lunch at 5pm I'm ravenous, and I keep eating healthy snacks to tone the hunger down, but for whatever reason, I'm just completely beside myself with hunger in those few hours. Its as if those little mini snacks make me even more hungry,…
  • While its a great article, I'd be wary to believe it all. In fact, research has also shown that high intensity interval training burns more fat and calories in less time than steady state cardio, and the increase calorie burn lasts longer throughout the day than lower intensity cardio. It really depends on what your goals…
  • I"m 5'2" even, and small framed. I am currently 135 (and this looks chubby on me!), and I'm aiming for 115-120.
  • I had 1/3 egg whites, a veggie sausage patty, and a sprinkle of cheese, all nuked in the microwave and mixed up. Its my standard breakfast. I usually eat that before I head to work (or on my way!) and eat some fruit once I get to work. Its about 140 calories for the egg bowl, and depending on the fruit I get another 50-100…
  • holy cow this is what i needed! i'm constantly trying to find high protien breast recipes to eat on the run in the morning, as I barely have time to shower between morning workout and when i have to be at work. When I eat cereal for breakfast, I'm hungry again in about 1.45 seconds...maybe this will hold me over a little…
