  • P90x is amazing. It can meet anyone's fitness goals, the trainer is world class, and there is enough variety that it doesn't get boring or allow your body to stagnate.
  • P90x Plus is great. I have done P90x, Insanity, P90x Plus, and Insanity Assylum. It is a little more synergistic and total body control than P90x lifting. The cardio is great, especially the Interval X. I ended up mostly doing P90x and supplementing it with the Plus videos.

  • Giving your muscles a break is very important to avoid stagnation and to help the muscles recover, which enables you to progress faster. Rest doesn't have to mean completely stopping exercise. Maybe try something less strenuous, like yoga or stretching, or just a walk in the park.

  • Breakfast is simply the first meal you eat when you wake up (breaking your fast from sleeping). If you are on a strange sleep schedule like that and it doesn't impede any diet/exercise/daily needs, there isn't any reason to worry. Just eat a good meal when you wake up and you're good to go.
