Rest Days Suck

Okay so the day after a rest day the workout seems so much hard. is there much point in arest day
Do you really need rest days?

    Yes, you do. Muscles need time to repair and grow stronger... if you are constantly shredding and overusing them... your workout is basically worthless and will more than likely lead to injury. Rest is vital.

    Giving your muscles a break is very important to avoid stagnation and to help the muscles recover, which enables you to progress faster. Rest doesn't have to mean completely stopping exercise. Maybe try something less strenuous, like yoga or stretching, or just a walk in the park.

    Yes, you need rest days....but so hate them!

    Maybe try a different excercise for example if you normally run go for a swim or even a long walk. Something less strenuious. An hour of walking works off over 200 calories and helps to clear the mind. I walk eveyday in my kunch break.

    yes by all means, u need a rest day. u should feel rested and energized after a rest day, ur muscles should perform at their optimum...guess u're just so focused u didn't notice :smile:
