anyone else?

there's a machine at brookstone that does this too! i'm not sure what it's called, but you stick bananas and frozen fruit/chocolate chips/whatever else in, and you get this ice cream-y substance!
-
Yeah, I've found that my HRM is usually about half of what the estimates on MFP and the machines say. :/

I've definitely had the same thoughts before when I see some of the threads and negativity that people have toward each other on this site. It's as if people don't realize that people who want to lose weight are likely more insecure (clearly this doesn't include EVERYONE, don't yell at me, people) and tearing someone apart…

pink, pink, pink!!!! i LOVEEEE the pink on you. it looks great with your skin and is super flattering! go rock that bikini, girl!

i have mine open to friends for accountability! if people can see what i eat all the time, i'm likely going to make better decisions! i love seeing what my friends are eating because it gives me ideas as well.

i've always thought of it more as liquid intake than strictly water. that being said, i wouldn't consider 8 cups of diet coke as being something that's particularly hydrating. i'll often count crystal light or true lemon mixed stuff as my water or i will add a plain lemon/lime. it's more about personal preference, because…

my first place was my hands/feet. seriously - i'm down an entire shoe size and none of my rings fit! my face went down pretty quickly too. i'm finding that my butt/hip area isn't budging much!

i have the breville juice fountain compact, too. i got it from amazon for $99. it's super easy to clean too, which i think is often an issue for other juicers. and i agree with what others said about drinking it right away - i would only let mine sit for 24-48 hours before i threw it out. good luck!!

i love this thread!! i've never uploaded a picture, so forgive me if this takes a few tries! these are my family's pets. this is a picture from about 10 years ago - the tiny cat's name is babar who could definitely always hold her own against our beloved german shepherd/alaskan malamute mix, gamgee. sadly, we lost gamgee…

You could be eating too little. The first (of many) plateaus that I hit was due to the fact that I wasn't eating nearly enough. My body stopped functioning properly. I started eating 100-200 calories more per day and within a week I was losing again.

Oh, I didn't actually finish reading your post - I got excited when I saw the margarita chicken!! I would go with the salad if that's really what you want!! It's still a healthy choice!
-
The margarita chicken is AMAZING. That's my new staple at Chili's. Usually, I can only eat half of it, too!

So, I made kale chips yesterday - they turned out okay, but they had a different texture than I was thinking they would. Basically, they disintegrated in my mouth instead of crunched like more of a chip (like I was expecting). They had a pretty good flavor on their own - I'm not one for seasoning, so I didn't season them…

I prefer the taste of almond milk to regular milk. Plus the fat from the almond milk isn't necessarily bad fat!

I have a cup of the almond breeze unsweetened vanilla milk with one tablespoon of lite hershey's syrup every time I get home from the gym for recovery. DELICIOUS, and only about 55 calories!

I used to NEVER eat back my exercise calories. I would burn between 700-1000 calories a day and maybe eat back 100-200 of them. My net calories would be between 300 and 700 calories. And then I just stopped losing weight and was exhausted ALL THE TIME. My body literally couldn't function. So, now I try to net at least…

i definitely feel the same way! i thought i was the only one! i've lost almost 80lbs, gone down 4 pant sizes, but still, i feel like i look exactly the same! you're doing great though, it's not all about how you look, it's how you FEEL. and i'm sure you feel great down 102 lbs!!

I agree with many of the posters. You may be able to find an independent nutritionist/social worker/therapist with a sliding fee schedule that is income-based if you don't have insurance... some may even be lower than $100 an hour.. It may seem like a lot of money now, but your body cannot possibly function well on so…

Yay!! That's fabulous!! Like most people have mentioned, C25K is good. When I started, I couldn't run one minute without getting winded. I've been able to run a 13:30 mile at one time. Now I am working on getting my endurance up and not really worrying about speed so I run 10 minutes when I first get to the gym, then do my…
