  • Thanks everyone! I have tried to take a week off to let my body rest at the encouragment of a trainier at LA Fitness. I have actually played with my diet a little to see if that would help. I guess it is just one of those things... maybe my body will finally decide to kick itself in the *kitten* and get going again. My…
  • Funny, we are at the same weight right now (and same height) and have the same goals! Let me know if you find anything that works for you. After two months of this, I am getting impatient. And the TRX Crossfit stuff is not cheap. I feel stronger but it is supposed to make the weight come off as well. I have invested $700…
  • Bump? Do explain...
  • Golf lessons, some crossfit classes and someone to come do some small fixer upper type stuff at my house.
  • Thanks everyone! I appreciate your comments. I think I am going to follow my heart (and tummy) and eat back my calories burned from cardio. I figure, since February I have lost 45 pounds total... I suppose I am doing something right! LOL! I have hit a plateau and am experiencing very slow weight loss. To change things up I…
  • Let this be your daily motivation! Hang the before and after on the fridge! Great job girl, you look great!
  • Thanks for the replies everyone! I am going to do a "girls night out" class and see how I like it. I am looking to tone my entire body, but the arms are what I would really like to tone up! It seems no matter what I do they are my problem area!
  • I have a real fear of donuts! The smell sickens me and I hate even looking at them! I also don't care for butter. I don't butter bread or add it to my food I prepare!
  • Do you feel like you are eating more because you are hungry? Or is it emotional? Or maybe you feel deprived of some foods and give in? I think the most important thing is not too have a bad week and let it ruin your overall motivation.
  • Awesome! You have a new glow to you!
  • @sleepytexan-- At first I was trying to stick to 1,200 with or without exercise. I am pretty new to the site and mostly use my phone app so I was a little unclear on the exercise calories at first. For about the last month I have been eating the extra exercise calories for the most part. (sometimes a little bit under). I…
  • Thanks everyone! I am at 1,200 calories a day. My dietician set me at 1,400-1,500 when I first started the journey but I was getting no results so we dropped them down. I am not gonna lie... it freaks me out to try and go back above 1,200. I am so scared to put weight back on!
  • I was in the same position as you... I thought I was doing everything right and was feeling lost. I went to a dietician and she said my eating was damn near perfect. I could not understand why I was not losing weight. She suggested I cut back on my eating out. I took that advice and started to see some results. I truly…
  • Cook it in a pan with a little EVOO, BASALMIC, MUSHROOMS, GARLIC and ONION! SOOOO good!
  • @ kelliehagen... It is always tricky to find that right calorie balance! I agree 1,200 can be a tough daily intake! I also found that over time you get used to it. If I go slightly over I don't stress and I usually give myself one or two days a month when I can have a few glasses on wine. @slimyfish... I totally agree on…
