I never experienced or seen verbal harassment/ intimidation- etc. However I have experienced creepy staring multiple times. I can safely say there are some degree of staring every... freaking.. time.. when I do my 15 minutes HIIT at the end of my weight session. I am extremely chesty and the girls bounce when I do any form…

You can eat pretty much anywhere from 1000 calories. Eat where you like the food. I personally never really liked the traditional fast foods like pizza, burgers , sandwiches or fried chicken and the rest. If I have the money and time and want to eat out, I get steak with baked potato / veggies. My second favorite sit done…

Totally agree. I wish I would have more patience to do those, but they bore me to death. Going on the cardio machine in the gym feels like a hamster spinning its wheel's. I do not even attempt it anymore. I go to the gym to do my heavy lifting that is all. Occasionally if I find a partner I play squash or badminton in the…

Maybe find an exercise you actually enjoy? I tried running so many times , because that just seem to be THE thing to do for weight loss and health, but I had a hard time motivating myself and every time I stopped after a month or so. After I while I just realize why the hell I am forcing myself to do something that I do…

As pp said, get your a ferritin level tested. I got anemic during extended Brestfeeding both times and my hemoglobin was normal , but my ferritin level was almost non- existent. If you are anemic and you dr makes you take iron pills, make sure your dr do follow ups. Many iron pill is really hard to digestion system and…

so unilateral just a fancier word for single leg exercises than ?! Bret Contreas really know ow to train females, so that is an amazing link right there. Thanks!

Now as you mentioned it I realized that is my non- dominant leg is the one that more muscular. Also my no dominant arm is more muscular, but that is explained by my kids. I often end up cooking / cleaning with holding my babies/ toddler in my left arm so my right hand is free to do whatever i am doing. In my arm the…

I am thinking to do single leg exercises , but I am not sure how to make the weaker leg stronger. Should I add more weight and keep the same rep on the weaker leg, or do more reps?
-
I am not really sure that is considered unilateral exercises. Could you explain me a bit more details?

I have ****ty form in some moves, but squat is definetly not one of them. I go waay below parallel. Actually I got a couple of complement about my squat form because I go lower than anybody in my gym. I literally almost hit the floor with my butt. I also tried wider stance , because some personal trainer suggested it. At…

I keep going back and forth between the 2 approaches. I generally prefer the TDEE method and works for me at the summer when I have consistent exercises (I am a bike commuter). During the winter my exercise habit can be all over the place and TDEE method not very good handling that. . I may up exercise 4-5 times in one…

+1. Op behavior is way too obsessive to be healthy

I have a bit ambivalent result from Stronglift aesthetic wise. I started Stronglifts at the beginning of March and I did roughly 3.5 months where I had 2 breaks each maybe 10 days long ( kid sick and wrist problems). My working weight reached 100 lb for bench, 110 for row, 125 lb for squat, 165 for dead-lift and 70 lb for…

I have an iPhone, and I tried a few things, but jefit seems to work the best for my needs. I did the StrongLifts program for 3 months and it has a specific app called SL 5x5 which is great if and only if you do not deviate from the program. At the moment you want to add an extra lift or two to the program that app became…

Are you sitting 8+ hrs on your bum in front of a computer. No? Than your are NOT sedentary. Last year when I was on maternity leave aka was a SAHM for a year with my baby and my preschooler my bodymedia measured 2700 calorie a day on average with no direct exercise. Based on MFP that was equivalent with an active…

Although some kids needs less sleep than others, but 7 hr sleep is nowhere adequate to either of your children. My kids generally need less sleep than the average, but 7hrs is only adequate for an adult. For ages between 1 and 3 they need 12-14 hrs a day. Between 3 & 6 the recommended is 10-12 hrs. If they sleep on the…

100% agree. Scale not moving is really upsetting. I do heavy lifting for over 4 months and I didn't drop a single lb :( My body is changing noticeably, but the scale stuck. Some day I am truly wondering if this was the right call. Or maybe I should have just focus on losing and once I am close to goal weight I should start…

Sorry , but this is NOT a keto meal plan. This is a starving plan, that is all. .
-
This is crazy. I picked the second fattest mode ( 9 out of 10)l, and it showed me I am the 4th???? It says I am 25% smaller than I think. Wow, this is an eye opener.

As already mentioned , weighting it or counting how many cups are the way to go. I also highly recommend to put the definition of a serving in the dish name. Like homemade chili, 1svg= 1 cup or Homemade chili 1svg= 100g. Otherwise, in a few months you will forget what you actually meant by one serving.

If that had been true, nobody with normal weight would have type 2 diabetes , which is NOT the case.
-
You get NaN column if either Carb or fiber is NOT on our chosen nutrient list. Go food/settings and make sure that both carbs AND fiber is among the 5 nutrient you track.

I mainly deleted people for inactivity. I have a 2 months limit, unless I know the reason or I know the person from elsewhere , in those case it is 6 months. . After a week or two I check up on the missing person, then again at 1 month mark, If no reply , response or logging in 2 months, there is no reason to keep it. I…

I am going to try this too. Thanks!

I need to mark this topic to read through it later. I used to make great fat bombs using some honey or banana, when I was breastfeeding and ate more carb. Now as I do keto, I can not find any good recipe. I hate stevia taste ( both powder and liquid ) and other sweeteners seems to give me sugar like reactions. Maybe I just…
-
I am not diabetic , never been even during pregnancies, but I also react to those. I do not think it is the fiber though. I love eggplant and other high fiber veggies/fruits and found no reaction if I stay within the net carb limit. I think it is the fake sugar in those thing. Some of them sweetened with sucralose , some…

I do not think percentage the way to look at things. Depending on your body( height weight etc), you total calorie goals can be differ a lot. Different calorie goal can change a lot on the % while keeping protein / carb level constant. For example I average ~95g protein( =0.8 per lb of LBM) and 30 g carb which I think is…
-
Your tracking is really sparse, so it is hard to judge. Your goal set to 96 g protein , which I do not think is that much. Of course it depends on LBM though. You seem to have a pattern to track 3-4 maybe 5 days, and totally off tracking 2-3 or even 4 days around the weekend . I think you probably overeat on those days…

^this. Unless somebody consuming large quantity of wild or grass feed , organic animals, the micronutrient levels are not the same Plus many vitamins , best example the vitamin C, are highly degradable by heat. Liver and other organs were consumed RAW by the natives, , which preserved the high vitamin content. Once we cook…

Yes I do wrap my thumb around the bar when I squat. Am I not supposed to do that? I always have a hard time figuring out how to grip the bar for most things I watched tons of form videos , but they are mainly using side view of the person and the plates hide the hands. Also I have no idea what is a false grip fro OHP?
