  • I just put in the first Zumba game that came out with the Kinect first did. It was crazy. My calfs were burning so bad and I only did 15 mins. That is a good workout, although the moves are a bit hard to follow.
  • Yes it is, I have that also and it rocks. For the Wii, the sports games don't really do much for you unless you go all out really into it. Boxing is about the only one I recall giving me what I would remotely consider a workout (I'm in your same boat weight wise). Maybe Tennis, but the other games aren't that fast paced so…
  • My mother and I have migraines as well. It honestly depends on your trigger. It may not be a food trigger if you have tried eliminating some of the listed triggers. Mine are stress and hormone triggered while my mom's are tied to hormones and sleep positions. Do you know what your trigger is?
  • I have always been irregular and my doctor has advised that since we havn't found anything wrong through testing, that it is most likely to do with my weight. I haven't heard of the opposite like you are discribing though. If you have always been regular and it has suddenly changed with the weight loss, you may want to see…
  • I'm trying for 96 oz. I usually hit somewhere between 80-96 oz.
  • I have the Body Fortress brand Whey protein from Wal-Mart. It's pretty good. My mom is a Type 1 diabetic and she can have it. It isn't too bad, I think 3 or 5 g of sugar for 1 scoop. I mix it in with the milk I pour on cereal.
  • Don't forget about water retention! You can fluctuate by anywhere from 1 to 15lbs even just with water. Keep going, don't give up! Maybe you'll be down 8lbs next week. The best thing you can do is keep meeting your goals and continue trying. It will happen as long as you do those things. I totally understand how…
  • Sugar-free Shaken Black Tea. Love it.
  • I am totally having the same thing for dinner lol. I found it in the food list, try searching Pork Loin. You should find it for 190 cal 4oz. serving. Not sure if that is cooked or raw, then just add in your spices and such.
  • I have a 12 minute cardio DVD I like. It's short, but its about all I can do right now so at least it's something. Also, they have a Zumba game for the game systems if you have one of those around somewhere. I just got it as another thing to try. Machines are not my friend so I'm opting for these methods right now. I would…
  • Thanks everyone! I have already gotten some great new friends and all of your moments really have motivated me. I can't wait to share my next moment and have it be something toward my goal weight! I'm happy to have anyone add me that wants a new friend!
  • I'm taking it slow personally. Starting with a 12 minute cardio 2x per week for a couple weeks. I guess it depends on how much you can stand to start doing. I know for myself, when I try to go from 0 minutes of workout per week to 30 several times a week, it kills and then I quit. (We have a DVD that is 12 minute cardio…
  • Awesome! I can't wait to get down that road.
  • Feel free to add me, I'm just getting started!
  • Seriously it is great to meet so many people and hear stories similar to mine. I have friends that are tiny and complain about eating a tic tac and gaining an ounce. That isn't real. All of your journey's are awesome and I can't wait to share more of mine!
