  • I agree with adding fiber and protein to feel full longer. Also, it helps me to monitor my water intake. If I'm between 5-8 cups (still low I know) I'm not nearly as hungry as the days when I barely drink any water. I've also learned that if I want to have a bingeless evening, I'd better have a dinner w/ a bit of…
  • I've just tried some this morning with wheat toast. It's SUPER sweet -hence the sugar content- but just like I've found with hummus, 2 tablespoons goes a long way. I didn't even use a full serving size to cover my toast.
  • hi! It's so interesting to read how one bc has so many different effects on different women. I only received 3 shots and absolutely loved it! I was scheduled to get a shot in June but due to changes in my insurance I couldn't. As far as weight, I went in knowing that the drug affects appetite and gave in a bit. I gained…
  • thanks!!!
  • a cup and a half of coffee works for me but idk your feelings towards the caffeine :-)
  • I'd love to join! I'm actually about to start the 2 mile walk as soon as I find it on on-demand. Sometimes I like to jog in place while watching because I don't have nearly enough room to keep my HR up during side steps etc. Is that ok? My goal would be 35 miles.
  • @Dmg114 I hope things are working out for you this morning! It's 6am my time and right now I'm working on my water grapes :-) You can do this!!!
  • Exercise tv is perfect for my exercise-related short attention span. I switch it up among 10lb slim down yoga, burn it up cardio, crunch abs & a**, less is more cardio, start walking at home with leslie sansone, yoga refresh and pilates
  • I understand how you feel! I've been transitioning to become a morning exerciser. I go through a lot just to wake up here's my schedule: Before I go to bed I put a bottle of water and piece of fruit on the night stand to get me functioning without excuses. I'm sleep by 1130 5:00am first alarm goes off at 10min intervals.…
  • This is so true! I try to straighten up and lengthen when I'm at work. If I had a dollar for every time...lol. I find I'm more aware of my core and posture after ab workouts/yoga/pilates
  • I step on the scale twice everyday but I have decided to only update my weight here if there is significant loss (at least a whole pound) :) I mentally compare my morning weight to my late afternoon/evening weight just to understand my body a little more. When I do weigh in here, I put the higher weight (usually late…
  • yikes! I've got to stop letting this summer cold & new job get the best of me. I will most definitely be pusing it until the end of the month. I have 6761 to burn calories to make it to my 10,000 cal goal. :) Just got the Wii Zumba Fitness game on sale at Target for $27.00 (reg. 39.99) yesterday so that should help a bit!…
  • thanks this is a great explanation!
  • This morning I tried unsweetened Blue Diamond Vanilla Almond Milk (2oz in 12oz of coffee so about 10 calories) & let me just say..it's different...lol I'm accustomed to about 4 or 5 teaspoons of coffeemate original (40-50 cal) but I'd be willing to sacrifice that for the sake of fewer calories.
  • My Kroger is running a sale on them this week (well at least I think it's a sale lol) and it's my first time trying them. I bought the mini fudge pops and the cookies and cream bar! I only had enough calories for the fudge pop last night and although it didn't have the thick, fudgy consistency I am use to, it did the job.…
  • Lol I wish I'd read this before I bought mine today! Nonetheless, I wasn't expecting much at all as my walmart had it for $3.00 (yes three dollars) o_O lol and I got suspicious when it didn't even ask me my weight. I used it in combination with my pedometer which calculates calories burned too and the hrm was 4x as high.…
  • I had my first taste of greek yogurt this morning around 4:00 with a half of a banana. (Obviously I needed the tryptophan to get back to sleep lol) but I am in LOVE with it now. I'm also glad I was fore-warned about the thickness because that would ordinarily turn my taste buds off, but I bought a cheap store brand just so…
  • Woohoo!!! Way to go y'all! We're off to a great start. Let's keep the calories burning! :)
  • Thanks for all the suggestions. I will look into the better alternatives! @divens14 yes I do have issues with my blood sugar and candy is absolutely my weakness and quick fix. I wil try the whole wheat bread and peanut butter solution. I guess that I am technically eating my replacement calories since I'm almost always…
  • Aaaahhhhhh I see!!! Thanks for the informative responses!
  • I'm in & this is my first challenge! I figured since I'm getting more comfortable with the food now is the time to be more accountable with exercising. My goal is 10,000 calories. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Weight Loss Tools
