Good to know about the heat. I saw other people had posted about it and wasn't sure!
-
I think you are not supposed to mix protein power in hot items because it denatures the protein.

I got a sportline from Walmart, strap and watch for $50. I've had great luck with it.

You can go to a running store and get gait-analysis and fitted for shoes. Also, they do running clinics and work on form.
-
I'd say normal you are holding up body weight with your arms. Just keep pulling your abs in!

I am an instructor for Body Pump and a huge fan! First time I've gotten good definition!

I got a Sportline from Walmart that is watch/chest strap for $49. I've been happy with it to start. I can always upgrade later. It does everything I've needed it to, and use my phone apps for GPS tracking (map my run)

It should. You should be eating good calories. And you should be eating back some of your exercise cals (unless you meant you are netting 1200).
-
Does it have a chest strap?? i dont trust the ones without it!

I think it's great. I know lots of people that won't drive someone of the opposite sex to the airport or whatever without having someone else along. If you've seen the movie Fireproof, there is no being too careful. Not many people go out looking for an affair, they just happen.

I got a sportline at walmart for $49. Just make sure it has a chest strap.

The calories they give you already have a deficit. So if you are exercising, you still need to eat because you need to get to the original calorie amount. There is still a deficit there to keep losing according to your plan.

Just stay withing your calorie range. Last week I had 3500 left over for the week so I figure if i go over one day it's NBD. Plus the 17 day diet is a good kickstart, but I don't think it's a permanent plan as much as just watching calories and exercise.

Sounds right to me. I use a different brand but high impact Zumba is about 400-450 for 60 minutes for me at 5'9" and 135. So I think the walking pace/time/burn seems reasonable.

5'9", 29, 137. I'm not really sure since I mostly do classes. Usually during a treadmill run or elliptical it's 140-160.
