  • Thank you all for your kind words, they honestly helped! Especially the picture of 5 lbs of fat!!! I sure am glad I got rid of that!
  • Most of your weight gain should come during your 3rd trimester, that's when your beautiful baby will be doing the most growing. Most doctors will recommend an extra 500 calories a day for baby. As long as your eating enough for your baby to grow and the growth is measuring on track you should be fine. 18 lbs is not that…
  • Congratulations on your new life and your wonderful man! You made me tear up this morning too!
  • Thanks! I went again tonight and my HRM read 654. I think I will do as you suggest and keep track of the different sessions and find an average.
  • This sounds delicious! I'm adding it to my recipe box, thanks!
  • CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'm about there myself started at 204, the scale said 199 one day last week and then jumped right back up to 201???? Oh well maybe my scale is possessed too! Oh and I'm 5'3 so I'm right there with ya!
  • I'm in! I got back on the wagon in January and didn't weigh myself until today purposely. I was disapointed in what the scale read (although it is TOM). I'm ready for another month of working out and eating right without worrying what the scale says. And it keeps me looking forward to March!
  • I've been vegetarian for about 9 years, people always seem perplexed about why and what I eat. My rule is don't judge what I'm eating and I won't judge what you are eating. Seems like it could apply here!
  • Wow! I am sorry people have been so rude to you. I don't understand why putting someone else down is ever ok, but not everyone thinks like me. I appreciate you feeding the strays!!! Know that you're a good person and try to let those rude and judgmental comments roll like water off a duck's back!
  • I'm vegetarian and I go over on proteing everyday! I eat plain greek yogurt for breakfast, but sometimes add agave syrup. Cottage cheese and a tofurky sandwich for lunch. Then dinner usually contains some type of Quorn product, their "chicken" cutlets are not breaded and only have 80 calories. I also enjoy their burgers,…
  • Congratulations, You look great! You're an inspiration  !!!!
  • Hey my fellow shorties! I'm 5'2 and I am currently the heaviest I have ever been. 204! Started tracking calories and working out this week, down one pound so far. Two years ago I was 155 and a size 10 and I loved the way I looked and felt, but I'm sure I would be happy at 135 :) To me it's all about what size I wear and if…
  • I think sometimes that it takes a little time for your body to start losing weight too. The first week I ate 1200 a day I only lost 1 lb, the following week I lost 6 lbs. Hang in there and try your best to eat less junk food and more healthy calories, things like veggies, fruit, and protein. Good luck to you keep it…
  • I usually use the gym is too crowded excuse, in fact I did just that today. Just got back on the bandwagon last week with the diet, I hope to stop using excuses for not working out this week!
  • Hi, I've been vegetarian for about 8 years, did vegan once but only for a month. People will always argue with you and ask "How do you get your protein?"! I like to quickly explain that I get plenty of protein from spinach, tofu, soymilk, etc. and politely let them know that I don't judge them for what they eat and I would…
  • Right now I'm digging some toasted kale with tahini and garlic, it is absolutley delicious. I also love fresh tomatoes with a sprinkle of salt, can't wait to pick some out of my garden!
