No Scale February

Hi everyone! Starting today I'm not going to look at the scale until the end of February. If you already have a steady plan I encourage you to join me! Whether you're losing weight or gaining I think we could all benefit from a break from that number! Who's with me? :drinker:

I completely understand. I've noticed myself weighing more than once a week lately and want to break the bad habit!0 -
I'm in! I got back on the wagon in January and didn't weigh myself until today purposely. I was disapointed in what the scale read (although it is TOM). I'm ready for another month of working out and eating right without worrying what the scale says. And it keeps me looking forward to March!0

ME PLEASE!? LOL I have a nasty scale addiction that I really need to kick. I had already decided not to weigh in again until March 1st So it will be awesome to have some support like and AA for scale addicts If you would like add me please, I need more people to support and to support me as well.0

Oh WOW! I LOVE THIS IDEA! I am totally addicted to getting on my scale and I think this would be great for me. I am trying to lose 5 pounds by April so just maybe this will be a nice surprise for me at the end of the month. COUNT ME IN!0

Hi! I started this program recently without getting on a scale. I don't own a scale, haven't in years, and won't own one. I'm gauging my success strictly on getting back into my jeans/other clothes. I am taking measurements though. So I am in support of a 'no-scale' February for you!0

I think I should try this. I seem to sabotage myself RIGHT before WI day. So the next day I'll weigh in will be Feb 28th. :bigsmile: Looking to hopefully be into the 160s by then.0

I'm in... have only been weighing in every other week and so far only lost 2 lbs. Sure would be a nice surprise at the end of the month to see that weight loss number go up!0

I'm in the midst of a weight loss competition that does weigh ins every two weeks so I can't totally skip it, but I did hide my scale at home and stopped doing daily weigh ins. I've noticed I'm not as stressed about my weight now.0

My daily weigh-in is what keeps me motivated and in-tune with my body, but I wish you all good luck and big number weight loss come March 1st!0

I'm in... I am addicted to the scale... sometimes 3-4 times a day... My boss used to be a Personal Trainer and Body Builder and she said you really should only weight like every 60-90 days, especailly when losing weight b/c it takes time for your body to adjust... I can't wait 60-90 days but I do want to focus more on inches and just getting healthy and fit and let the weight loss follow naturally... I haven't really lost weight in the past week or so so it will be nice to get on at the end of february and see what i've done0

As soon as my alarm goes off I literally run to the scales and do the same when I get in from work!!! Completely ruins my day if I have put on a pound.........God forbid 2!! I can't help myself, even though I know it's awful!0

I'm already doing monthly weigh-ins..so, I'm in:) I started Jan 1st..and lost 14 pounds that month! It's too tempting to keep the scale at home, so, I actually left it at my parents in Jan, picked it up Jan 31st, and dropped it off after my weigh-in on Feb 1st...
I feel so much better and don't get discouraged (i.e. try my best) when I don't see the numbers. And usually, if you're eating well/exercising, you will see a drop at the end of a month...0 -

I'll try it. My goal is no weigh-in until Valentines. I plan on eating a really nice meal that day. I'll want to know my progress before the meal. After that I'll finish the month. An unrelated goal is to make my net calories goal EVERY SINGLE DAY until valentine's day. I've never had a perfect week; but i'm hoping to have a perfect 7 days from now until then. Wish me luck. :noway:0
