  • Redordeadhead Correct that’s a full 24 hour burn not from exercise solely :) And thank you AnnPT77, I guess I need to exercise more patience, it’s just a little frustrating since I’ve not had to so much in the past and as for tracking when I spend a week tracking calories I weigh but let’s say it’s a granola bar I do trust…
  • Thanks Ddsb11, I feel like I’m tracking everything but i agree it’s likely a drink gets missed here and there. AnnPT77 I lowered calories about 6 weeks ago, along with fitness but I’ve changed my fitness routine starting with a beach body 21 day fix, but found it boring after 2 weeks so stopped and started doing peloton…
  • Thank you for the advice, I put on an extra 12lbs being stuck indoors and so I guess I wanted to speedup losing that to get back to my 'normal big' and then work on slowing down the remainder to my actual goal weight. Prior to lock down, my heavy weight was 165 so this is just frustrating :). I'll go in and switch up my…
  • Thanks, I'll take a look at the libra app and try to weigh myself weekly see what I notice
  • Thank you everyone this is really helpful. BarbaraHelen2013 yes it's a break down of 40% carbs 30% protein 30% fat. I'm not too familiar with the ins and out perhaps someone else can answer that. The list of foods I was given would put foods under each category, some would fall under both like certain cheese could be used…
  • I'll have to do some calculating but since the food here doesn't change much this is a typical days food. Breakfast 1.5 serving spoons of porridge with a sachet of brown sugar Handful of pineapple cubes usually 4 large or 5-6 if chopped smaller Egg white I cut off a fried egg Half slice swiss cheese Snack 5-6 walnuts Lunch…
  • Hi try2again, I would think i was eating too little too however the eating plan was put together by the fitness centre so kept to it so far. I eat a lot more now than I used to but with balanced meals. I wonder if the watch data is being read wrong?
  • Hi Kimny That's where I am confused but yes for yesterday it shows 1795 in resting calories and 666 in active calories. No where in the health app does it show a total energy which is why I assumed these are separate. I work out 5 days a week and work on a ship which means running up and down many flights of stairs daily…
  • Hi PiscesIntuition Yes I'm looking for fat loss info but also would like to understand how to use this Information as a whole. Out of interest why would I deduct active from resting and you have above ? :)
  • Staraly, thank you :)
  • JustJara - Thank you :) I have switched out some of the carb items and replaced with protein and healthy fats, I've only done it for a few days but already feel better and more satisfied so hoping this will keep things into gear. And yes, I definitely bloat! My stomach is almost always flatter in the morning than it is in…
  • Thank you, I'm going to put all of your advice into play and see where that takes me. Also, I've been better at tracking my calories these past few days and noticed I'm coming up to around 1100 - 1200 calories Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner but then still waking up in the night and snacking which can then take me up to 1300 -…
  • Eric - Thank you, I'll definitely get a scale :) Tavistock - I lost 3lb but my body shape changed a lot, I went from a large flabby belly to now a 2 inch of fat in the lower tummy area.
  • I measure solid foods with a cup measurer, I don't weigh them so there will definitely be a discrepancy. However since I still feel hungry there is surely something I'm missing despite the calorie count?
  • Looking at the days I've tracked the calories range anywhere between 900 and 1300. I'm 5'3" - 157lb - Female I should say I was 160 lb when I started and have clearly 'shrunk'. So assume I've switched fat for muscle.
  • Shoes are a few months old but not necessarily made for running so perhaps that's it?
  • I may do some more research into vegetarian/vegan protein drinks, I always get really hungry after a workout and perhaps one of these shakes would do the trick :) p.s. I didn't read any snarky-ness ha ha just had to have a look back through my diary to make sure I wasn't eating too many of those eggs :p Thank you! :) I…
  • Ok ok I get that... I guess since I've never eaten meat and have always been under the impression that I get less protein than others that do eat meat that I wondered what a difference it would make to my diet and exercise... perhaps absolutely nothing but I guess that's what I should have said in my original post :) but…
  • You make a decent point re the chocolate :) however I was implying more the fact that it wasn't a food in terms of chewing and eating it, I try not to deny things in my diet.. if I were to deny myself a bit of chocolate I would end up eating a whole lot more a month down the line so giving myself one bar I see is better…
  • Appreciate that thank you :) - Wow, that's probably where I was going wrong... I like quite a few on here followed the 1200 calorie rule and sometimes even struggled to meet the 1200 - I try to measure each meal as much as possible but do have to guess-timate sometimes and get around 900-1200 calories per day (let's assume…
  • Reading through this thread I noted the calorie calculator and hope the OP doesn't mind me asking a question in here? I calculated what my calorie intake should be but can't quite figure out which number I should be paying attention to? Your Daily Calorie Requirements Your Projected Weight Loss* Basic Metabolic Rate: 1395…
  • I also started T25 and am now mid way through week 3 of Alpha. I get bored easily with workout routines but find this one quite fun, mixing up the workouts throughout the week really helps with the boredom (not that you have time to be bored). I love the moderator and try to push myself through the exercises but whenever i…
  • I'm unsure of the names but from what I recall there are running machines, elliptical, bicycle, there are benches which I've seen people do sit ups on (they don't have anything but a flat bench, no weights or change in angles). There are also balls of all sizes which I've never seen anyone use. Lots of hand weights. In the…
  • Thanks for the link, I think I'll give this one a go :)
  • Thanks for all the advice, looks like my slapping feet might be of benefit to me hooray! I have some running shoes, generic ones though nothing fitted so perhaps I'll find a running shop and see what they say :) Thanks for the tips about increasing running/walk times over a period of time, I'll download one of the running…
  • Wow thanks for the tips :) I can't wait to try some new food ideas now... started getting a little 'routine' with what I ate so I'm really excited to try out some yummy stuff x For the record, I've been veggie since I was little because I didn't like the taste or smell of meat so I guess it's a lot easier for me to stick…
  • Thanks Coco_puff :) definitely why me and mum are getting different results, but the post I made above was just my own results and I would think that doing more minute of exercise would mean burning more calories?
  • I've figured out our confusion, when entering the daily exercise the Aerobics high impact gives 70 calories for 20 minutes or 116 calories for 15 minutes... as nice as this would be, I figured it's a glitch hence our confusion :)
