I had a panniculectomy 23 days ago. My experience hasn't been terrific, but that's more about the Dr and hospital I used than anything. (It was a teaching hospital and she let a student do my surgery while she went back and forth to another surgery...which may have been ok if I had been informed of that. I only know…

It was my gateway drug to exercise. Lol Seriously, I did free step over and over everyday till I got a treadmill and eventually could do workout videos. I lost my first 60 or so pounds using it.

"Oh my GAWWWWD, you look like a teenage boy now!" I've gotten that one quite a bit. Not sure if teenage boys have begun to sprout DD's or if I should wear tighter shirts...lol

So proud of you! Surgery may give faster results, I suppose, but i know that earning this without help was what was best for me, and hopefully for you as well.

Seth and I, 3 1/2 yrs ago...me, super morbidly obese; him, living with failure to thrive and cerebral palsy. The before pic was the day he had surgery to place his feeding tube. Today we are both much closer to healthy weights and this little man is my inspiration as we live out our reclaimed lives.

If the gain sticks around more than a day or 2 I own it. Which sucks because I'd love for my ticker to still say -151...but it will get back there again.

Lol No doubt! I was reading along and thought, "I cannot be the only person that had to stop and go brush their teeth again at some point in this thread."

That was yesterday's show. Meratrim?

Me too...for 3 years now...shame that it only gets rid of water weight. Lol

I like to think they're keeping him around to have someone to trip in case of another zombie herd emergency.

It's not for everyone, but it's the only thing that has ever worked for me. ETA: I eat at least 2500 cals/25ish carbs per day

Look at you, saving your own life! I'm so thrilled for you!

You mean to tell me those jars aren't single servings?! Lol

My husband was seriously unsupportive at the beginning (now he's just moderately unsupportive LOL)...he would buy my favorite junk/fast foods and try to guilt me into them...tell me I deserve them...pick fights over it. Ugh. I finally just had to want health enough to push through his BS. I make all my own food and leave…

Started barely able to button a 26 lying down (i think I was probably a 30, but 26 was the largest size at the store) and now I'm a 10. 8 has been my goal. I have huge muscles in my legs (yay me!) and I don't think they will fit anything smaller than an 8, so I think my goal is a good one for me. :)

This...and having teenagers that can help with the little ones. Lol

The first yr (it's been nearly 3 now), I lost consistently for about 5 months and then the scale just stopped for 3 months. I kept eating on plan and kept working out, but the number wouldn't budge. I was so discouraged, but my husband reminded me that we had taken before pics when I started 30day shred and that had been…

1/1 7 1/2 5 1/3 7 1/4 4 23 down, 97 to go...

Circuit training, maybe?

The next to the last one in the Ender's Game series. I've started a couple more since then, but that story is still stuck in my head and nothing else seems worth my time at the moment. Lol

I think her "no more trouble zones" is my favorite of her stuff.

I've had plateaus last 3 months and more, so 3wks isn't worrisome...frustrating, though. 30 day shred has never helped my weight, but it's a great workout.

1-1 7 1-2 5 1-3. 7 19 down, 101 to go...

I weighed 285, told them 235 and now weigh 193. Three more months and I'll have a license people might actually recognize as being mine again. Lol And I may not even lie about my weight this time. ;)

Best answer ever.

So amazing! Rock on!

I wouldn't mind trying to help out a newbie. I've been at this for nearly 3yrs now. Lost 151 in the first 18 months, gained 20-25 and re-lost it a couple of times this past yr or so while going through some stuff (death in the family, health issues with my special needs child) and on my way back down at the moment. I lead…

That's the way to do it! They may poke fun/make comments at first (my fam would sit on the couch with ice cream and pizza watching and laughing at me) but they'll come around...maybe even join you.

Park the treadmill in front of the tv and put on a movie I love. I get soooooo bored on the treadmill, but eventually I get lost in thought or the tv and the time passes.

I'm in for 120. 1-1 7 1-2 2 (so far) 2/9/111
