According to Garmin, people do have the badge. It was dispersed randomly at the beginning. There are Garmin groups seeking it. Search groups for Zombie Hunter. My guess is that most people with Connect don't participate in group challenges so it may be a while before the rest of us see it. What do you think?

Thank you for asking that question. I have been here for about a year and have yet to figure out "bump." Hopefully someone will answer soon. Good luck to ya!

There are also HR monitor bras so you don't have to worry about placement or interferance. Here is a link to a place that sells them. http://heartmonitorbra.com/polar-heart-rate-monitor-bra/

I didn't have time to post my final mileage for September. So, I'm posting now. I fell short of my goal by 30miles. But, i did start running. I guess that has taken some of my time and energy. September total was 770 miles. I'm not setting a goal this month as I have decided to run a half marathon in December. I'll be…

Whoot! Whoot! New PR on my short route today, by 1:35!! It was totaly unexpected. It hurt so perfectly. Sept mileage = 504

In 25 years of riding I have found body parts, tools, money, lost children, puppies, kittens, other assorted baby animals, assorted pornography, sex toys, wallets, purses, sunglasses, Grey Goose, furniture, and most recently a large bag of fried pork skins. That's all that comes to mind at the moment. By the way I have…

Hey, I just started running and am having the same problem. It hurts pretty bad the day after but goes away by the second day. I'm hoping good posture and a little patience will take care of it. Cycling does not seem to bother it even on the days my back is sore.

After 38 today I'm at 396 for the month. See yall soon I hope.

I'm definitely with the others that shorter pulls are ideal. However, I am also of the opinion that taking the front at your pace is acceptable as long as the others understand their responsibility to pull through if you begin to slow or their momentum outpaces you. But keep in mind that anybody who pulls for miles is…

I said I would participate but it’s been hard to get to the computer in the past couple weeks. So I'm posting weekly mileage. I'll also add that I ran a couple times this week. Now I know that does not sound so miraculous. You gotta know I have never claimed to be a runner. Typically I would avoid it. But I have a new…
Holy carp! That's an amazing century time, especially in that kind of heat. Way to go!
zornig, thanks for the comment on my last century. I felt like it was a good ride. I worked pretty hard. I'm planning another one in a couple weeks. I'll be riding with a more leisurely group. I think that will be fun…

I'm not doing very well getting to the website every day. I do most of my MFP entries on my phone. Anyway, I kind of had an off week as I spent the weekend backpacking rather than doing my regular long rides. Still, I'm feeling pretty good these days. Last week: 143 miles Month Total: 584 miles

Well, I didn't do the 125. I did do the 100 with 4800 feet of climbing. I felt good and finished in 5:35. Ever heard the saying, "hot like GA asphalt ?" I experienced that today. I saw temps on the road of 107 degrees. I was able to spend about 4700 calories today. I sure hope everyone has a great cycling weekend, no…

I did a nice 18 mile spin this morning. I'm going to ride 125 miles at a local century tomorrow. I sure hope it goes well.

I'd like to add. Don't wear underwear under your shorts either. It will get better. Good luck. I just found this thread. Everyone is doing a great job. Keep it up. There are very few things better than riding.

I always feel stupid in classes. So I just start laughing and everyone laughs right along with me. In the end I push my self harder and have a great time. I hope you can make a friend and have fun. Good luck.

I have been using Polar HRM for over 15 years. They have all been accurate, consistent, and easy to use. Polar has lots of different monitors divided by sport, features, and desired result. I'm pretty sure they all povide calories burned. You can go to the Polar website and search for the monitor you want based on your…

What does NSV mean? I'm sure it is something obvious. I just can't figure it out.
