Being ill sucks when you are trying to lose weight
-
:( I ate loads on Saturday (after weigh in) maintenance will send me over for the week. Stupid cold.

It helps keep everything moving. If you are eating something marketed as 'low fat' pick up the non low fat version and compare generally the low fat will have sugar or other extras.
-
I'm using this to log, Jane Plan so it's easier to stay in my calories and WW so I'm weighed weekly. If I don't lose weight I'll brush it off on my own, but being publicly weighed gives me more incentive.

If you are running after 4 children you are probably burning loads of cals through exercise so your deficit it way too much.
-
If you need to have less than 1cm of fat under your skin getting to a certain weight may not achieve that. Measuring will be better.

Kettlebells are terrible for people with back injuries I didn't do them before my last injury. I've had PTs before with weights they were really good but it was an expensive gym unfortunately I've moved and I have no faith in PTs in normal gyms. They tend to go through the same routine a bit of cardio and some light…

I used to lift 420lbs on a leg press. The doctor has said this is now out of the question.

I've been advised against yoga but Pilates is recommended.

I've done under 20g. It is hell for the first 4-6 days and you have to have a lot of will power. I was doing as part of a gym program which included high intensity weight lifting. The biggest issue I found is that once I past the first 4-6 days it was easy but one cheat day results in resetting and going through the hell…

Did you read the full post. Cheese and eggs cover the fat side although these can be upped if needed. If the turkey is actual turkey (not sure what lunch meat is) and fish cover the protein to be fair it's actually a pretty balanced diet.

You will always lose a lot in the first few weeks especially if you have a lot to lose. It will be mainly water weight but it's a great achievement and will give you encouragement. Just don't get disheartened when you are losing less a week further down the line.

I know it won't give me a flat tummy but it's under 1200 calories you add in extra things like fruit and veg. I need the motivation previously I went to an extremely good (by eye watering expensive) gym in London where it was purely weights and abs a personal trainer for each session and an eating plan. Every 2 weeks you…

I'm not a low fat person when you look into anything 'low fat' it's either tiny or high in sugar. I'll probably use weight watchers for the weigh in bit and log on here.

I used to have total protein (my protein) vanilla when I was on a high protein, low carb dieting and lifting three times a week. I made protein muffins with it but generally I had it with 250ml of yogurt and 200ml water in the morning for breakfast I just added different berries everyday. It's lower in carbs and sugar than…

I'm going to be way under that but atm a online calculator won't give the correct figure due to the surgery recovery my body will be burning more than normal, as recovery can peak and fall for different reasons. Also different people recover at different rates.

Smoked paprika square.

Not for the bakery different company and that company doesn't have the info on their website very frustrating.
-
I brought a roll from tescos fancy bakery and have no idea what the cals are.
-
Bugger.
-
I generally run. Just getting back onto my diet and back into running after having a nasty ankle break. It's more to make sure the exercise cals are as accurate as possible.
-
I am doing it but I just dread when my calorie allowance drop once I've lost some weight. It's knowing what is ahead which is annoying without the excitement of losing weight which I had the first time around.

bump

That's I sort of figured that just wanted confirmation.
-
I've frozen my gym membership as for the first two weeks I'm at my parents and then after that when I'm home it's just not practical to get there it's a 15 min walk from the tube so that isn't practical on crutches.
-
I had a lowish carb diet and I ran but I have a lot more than you do and I made sure my protein was up.
-
That makes no sense. I'm over 2 stone over weight so I have to lug two extra stone around but someone who is the same weight but 6" taller wouldn't be over weight so wouldn't be lugging around the extra weight surely I would burn more due to the extra weight for my height?
-
Even though I'm quite short?

The running shoes are on the christmas list. :\

I use asics atm but anything more than 10k and I get back pain.
