Can you plan to just eat a little of it every day? Maybe you are binging because you deny yourself for so long, and then once you are able to eat it, you can't stop. If you try having just a bit each day and fitting it into your calories, that may help normalize it!

Thanks for the answers! Yes, on the shoulder its both bench and OHP, and for squats I have pain on my left inner knee, not in the knee exactly but right to the right of it, in the soft tissue. I'll try to take some videos to demonstrate.

I have not done one yet but I am signed up for one this coming July. I have done a Spartan Sprint, as well as a Battlefrog 5K and a Battlefrog 15K. Without having done a RM and just going on feedback from fellow obstacle racers, I have heard that is it a very fun race with some unique obstacles (trampolines, water…

I'll be there for this! I signed up for the weekend of 6/7, but I live in the next town over so may drop in to do the race on 5/30 as well. Will keep an eye out for you all!

This was my thought process-but the calorie total I ended up with just was so off compared to the total calorie goal that they suggested for me that I thought something must be wrong! I guess I will keep playing around with the numbers. Thanks for the tip! I did take a look at the ground beef and it was pretty high-found…

Anyone interested in doing the O2X Summit Challenge at Windham Mt. in NY on October 25? The race sounds awesome and I will prob be signing up this week, but would love company. Also found a coupon for a $65 entry fee-looks like theyve got some great swag included.

How is this something you are not able to figure out on your own? Google Maps the time it takes from the train station to your work, then add on the average time you take to shower/get dressed-see if it is equal to or less than the hour that you have from the end of class to the time you need to be at work. If you know you…

You didn't lose weight for like 2 weeks-that's not a plateau. You may have eaten something high in sodium one day or your body was just holding on to weight. it's not an excuse to just say oh well and eat whatever. Sometimes you have a week when you don't lose weight, or where you may gain a pound. Just keep tracking your…

Not sure what your question is, or why you think you are a "freak". You lost a few pounds of water weight very quickly. You won't lose 15 lbs every two days forever. It will slow down. If you're really not hungry at 1300 then I guess don't eat, but I would be chewing my own arm off at that low amount of calories. You could…

Maybe you could use some of the time you spend weighing yourself to cook some of your own food instead? :flowerforyou:

Log it-seeing that 400 or 500 calorie sandwich or muffin taking a huge chunk of your daily calories should be a good enough deterrent. Or, if you think it's worth it, then eat one and just fit it in to your daily allowance! No food is really bad, but if it's causing you to overeat then you have to have self control. If…

+1 :drinker:

Just bring your own food and don't eat theirs! Or have a little bit and go to the gym later. That sounds like an awesome celebration.

   Seems like it adds up to me!

With the amount of these threads being posted each week, you could be a billionaire in no time!

You really expect everyone in the office to stop eating their treats and stop bringing them in just because you are on a diet? I am sure that there are many other people who are not trying to lose weight and enjoy having those little treats in the office. They are not doing it to spite you. You have to be able to say no!…

Go here: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ Calculate your calorie goal. Try it for 4-6 weeks along with beginning a lifting program-you may gain weight initially but if you stick with it and log everything accurately, then you should see some progress.

Eat more. A lot more! 1100 calories net is really low, especially for a male with your activity level! Too few calories combined with so much activity could certainly impede your weight loss or cause you to stall.

I'd be more worried about gaining weight from the un-logged weekends than adding back a couple hundred calories during the week.

Start lifting. Heavy. You won't get bulky. Lean/toned is the same thing as having muscle. You just look lean and toned when you don't have any more fat covering your muscles. You won't swell up like a body builder overnight, or probably reach that ever, because it takes extreme dedication, a calorie surplus, and lots of…

First, eat real food, not protein shakes. You can fill up on probably twice or three times the amount of veggies as you can for the same calories that a protein shake has, and add in some protein for a solid meal. The shakes won't make you lose weight. If you eat real food instead of liquid calories, you will stay fuller…

You can't spot reduce and there are no easy ways. Eat right, work out, and be consistent! Losing weight is not easy, but it's worth it.
-
This is your problem. If you have gone back to your old way of eating then you are probably going over your calories. Stick to what worked for the first few months.

love food prep...hate the tupp life!

What makes protein from a protein bar any different than protein you get from any other food source?

Pretty much! At the end when I could finally escape he's like ok, see you Wednesday?! Uhhh no thanks-if he's annoying again on Wednesday we're gonna have a problem!

This! My gym just hired a whole bunch of new trainers and they were just swarming around all the people working out yesterday. This one super obnoxious guy cornered me in the rack and spent my entire workout bombarding me with questions about SL5x5, pestering me about why I did it, and telling me it only did half the job…

+1 for going to the doctor to get tested so you can be sure. However, because you said that's not really an option you are willing to do...If you are considering cutting out gluten because you feel that it will make a difference and could possibly be seriously affecting your health, you would have to be pretty concerned or…

This is your issue. Weigh what you eat, log accurately, and you will see results. You are only cheating yourself if you don't keep an accurate picture of what you eat! If you don't have time on weekends, pre-log it, or log on Monday after so at least you have an idea of what you are eating and can tweak it or be more…
