I'm on the same bandwagon! I lost 40 lbs about 2 years ago and have gained all that I lost back and then some. I would love to keep each other motivated!

I'm 100% on board! I'm with you...I've battled my weight since puberty and used MFP about 18 months ago to lose 40 lbs...what a shock...I go off the wagon and gain 30 of it back...so today is a new day!

Carbs...spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, bread (especially garlic bread), lasagna, etc!

My 12 year old didn't go to school today but when he got home from working with his Dad we talked about it. He seemed really upset and angry with the guy that did the shooting. I'm sure he felt more but I'm just the step-mom so I didn't get a lot of the info. My 7 year old doesn't seem to know anything about it and for now…

Well apparently its a girl with Boss Hogg/the Mailman (scary since I have a mail lady) or Michael Jackson...

I did pork carnitas with black beans and pico de gallo last night...just did a side salad on the side...I'm gonna keep checking in for ideas.

Wow...I needed this post tonight...yes I was being nice in saying that she was glad to be rid of the guy. No idea how she thought that looks don't matter but not gonna sweat it...its the internet...it has its good and its bad. Thanks for the support guys...MFP is quite the family!

After being with my husband for 2 weeks I woke up to a diamond ring on my pillow...the rest is history.

Congrats on your loss and on hers!! I've been in similar situations and part of you isn't sure whether you can believe them or not! You're getting healthy...and that is important.

I don't think that you being near or at goal has anything to do with it...people just naturally want what they don't have...sadly! It may not feel that way now but you're better off without that fish in the pond...good luck!
