Your story sounds just like mine. I'm stuck at 140 though.

Of course! If you go from a sedentary lifestyle to being active you'll notice you get a better night's sleep which in turn leads to higher levels of energy :) I wish you luck and much success on your journey!

Thanks. I'm going to keep trying this method for a few more weeks and see how it treats me. Inches I think will be the best measure for me. I am not big by any means, 5'2" 125 lbs just tying to lose the last few lbs or better yet, achieve that sculpted look. I see the muscles in my back and abdominals becoming more…

Sounds about right. I burned 330 calories a couple of weeks ago in an hour. I had my heart rate monitor on the whole time because I knew it would be hard work and I was curious to see what I really burned.
-
It goes under your breast because that's where your heart is. So in essence, it is taking an accurate account of your heart rate and transmitting it to your watch. The calories your HRM gave you sound about right for a Zumba class, since you're burning about 7-10 calories per minute.

Happened to me too! Plus, I'm prone to heartburn and it came back with a vengeance when I ate junk. :(

I HATE HATE HATE squats! But they work so I do them. I just curse the f* out them every single time.

How did you get your outer thighs to be muscular? I'm working on this now to reduce some of this "saddle bag" look. Also, I've been doing tons and tons of squats (with weights) and started noticing a change in my inner thighs. I'm starting to see that muscle show a bit more. Hope that helps. For calves, I use the machine…

My face has always gotten beat red when I work out, even when I was super athletic and played sports. Back in my school days it was so embarassing, now I just live with it....take it in. It's a sign of a good workout. As long as I have plenty of water, I'm ok with it.

bump for later

Ok...I'm going to try half cardio half strength. By the way, how can I see my sugar consumtion? Is there a way to change the display to include your sugar intake? I had no idea I was consuming more than I needed to.
-
Actually, now that I think of it. When I started working out I was doing a routine that included weights. Then somehow I got the idea to just do cardio to get rid of the fat. My reasoning was, "What's the point of lifting if all the muscle is hidden behind fat...you won't be able to tell" Am I wrong...should I go back to…

P.S.- I messed with my weigh ins not too long ago and accidentally erased my starting entry. I started at 128.4. --I know my profile says only 1 LB down.
