I had a tubal and then a year later I had an ablation done. The ablasion was the best thing I ever did! I haven't bled in almost 3 years. I do still get cramps sometimes, but not as bad. I am no longer anemic from the amount of bleeding I did each month. That said, I have recently found out that I have a fibroid, and my…

I love this! I have been losing quite slowly, and though I am still motivated, I am going to remember this for those times when I'm not.

I've lost 18# in just over 90 days.

I vote for Bocca or Gardenbuger brands. They Both have great texture and different favors. I'm a carnivore at heart, but I find that I prefer a good garden burger to a hamburger any day!

I have one son who's five with special needs. I also have some pretty major health problems that leave me unable to exercise much, if at all. I have about 70# to lose, and I'm doing it mainly by diet alone. Friend me if you'd like. :)

"Thu 06/28/12 07:23 AM Astros fan! Forever in re-build mode. :D That will hold even more true once we move to the AL West." Mariners fan here, so I understand your pain! Rebuild, rebuild, rebuild. Oy!

My main reason is to save my sight. I have IIH (idiopathic intercranial hypertension) and the pressure from the excess spinal fluid puts strain on my optic nerves, along with many other problems. It has been shown that 20-30% of overweight people with IIH who lose weight go into remission, so that is what I am hoping for.…

I'm in the Bellevue, WA area. Grew up in Vancouver and that's where most of my and hubby's family still live. :)

I grew up in Vancouver, WA. Miss it! And miss Portland!

I do! :-D

I have been living with Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism for 18 years. Hypothyroid can cause weight gain, or at the very least make it harder to lose. The good news is once your medication is leveled out and your TSH is in the normal range, the weight loss comes as easy as if you've never had it. Symptoms of hypothyroid include:…

My favorites are either Noat or Aetrex. Both can accommodate custom orthotics, but I find that their insoles are even more supportive than my orthotics are. They come in some pretty cute styles, though I have to be honest, some of the styles are freaking UGLY, but man, they feel great on.

What's "scary" to you? That she chose to breast feed her adoptive son? To foster a beautiful attachment that is very difficult to make in an adoption situation like that? I'm confused. I adoptive breast fed my son, but maybe it's less scary to you since my son was 2 days old when he was placed with us. Please clarify what…

Well said! I agree with everything you said. I'm so sick of the mommy wars!

My hubby and I were together for 6 years (High school sweethearts) before we got married. We were engaged for 2 of those years. We've now been married for 14 years and together for 20. I knew he was the one for me, he was my best friend first.

Again, thanks everyone. I do try to get up and walk several times a week, only 10 minutes a day but it's something. I have a condition called IIH, basically I have too much cerebrospinal fluid surrounding my brain. The medication to control the pressure (and hopefully save my sight) is a killer. The side effects are almost…

Thank you everyone! So far I have lost 7 pounds, but I blame that on side effects as well, no appetite. Right now I'm counting calories to make sure I eat enough to stay out of starvation mode, but that side effect is supposed to be temporary. Hopefully I can be another success story. I have 80# to lose and I appreciate…

Thank you for your reply, and some hope!

Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to try it!

I thought "why can't I have a night owl for a kiddo...just 5 more minutes please little man."

Thank you everyone! I understand better now how MFP came up with my calorie goals. Such wonderful support here, thanks!
-
Thanks so much for the clarification. I was confused, but now I understand how MFP got my calorie allowance. Thank you both for taking the time to explain it to me in a way that makes sense. :)

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check them out. I'm not a sweets person, but salty and crunchy is another story!

Welcome! I started a week ago, hope you love it as much as I do!
