  • There are lots of bodyweight exercises. The best thing to do would be to google bodyweight exercises and you'll get loads of ideas, pics and videos. A few that I do: Squat jumps - squat then from the squat position jump and land in the squat. Mountain climbers - get into press/push up position bring one need in, then take…
  • To be honest, I dont think there's an exact answer to your question. For example some people class dairy as good other think its bad. Some things are more obvious like chips, cakes etc. I've been taught to think of low fat foods as bad as they ften hve more sugar than the full fat alternatives. Dont know though! My rule of…
  • I have used them. It all really depends on the problem. I have always found them to help. But its not advisable to wear them long term as they support/stabilise the knee causing the muscles to 'not bother'. Knee braces can definitely help, make sure it fits well and is comfortable and not too tight though!
  • Hey I've had years of knee problems. I was born with knee caps that dont fit in the joint and as a result dislocate...anyways the best advice I can give you is see a doctor and if your in the uk get yourself referred to a physio. I have had hydrotherapy on my knee when its been very bad and it really helps, not immediate…
  • Hey, I know its not easy being in London right now! I'm meant to be coming down to visit my bf tomorrow but he's told me that he's gonna come see me instead. Hopefully it'll all be over soon. Dont worry about the comfort food we all need it from time to time.
  • Well for me there's not one reason, theres many. But there are two main reasons. Firstly, I really don't like the way I look, I don't like what I see when I look in the mirror. But more than that I want to get healthy as well as fit! I want to enjoy my life more than I amat the moment and not miss out on things because I…

  • Have you tried youtube for ideas? There's loads of videos showing exercises and or full workouts!
  • I've had knee problems pretty much all my life. I am NOT an expert though! The best thing to do is rest it! It takes a long time for the knee to heal because you use it in pretty much every movement you make. Also try some Ice if it's sore! Exercise wise....you could maybe try swimming??? As it's less impact than most…

  • LOL! The first post made me giggle and this made me laugh! Anyway, I have no clue about why everyone is focused on 1200 cals. Its really obvious that with weight loss a one size fits all doesnt work! So how can 1200 be the minimum for all? I generally am under 1200 cals. But am very rarely hungry and am losing weight! I…

  • I know the feeling. Have you tried icing your calves? I find hat can sometimes take the edge of the soreness. The best way I've found to cope is stretching regularly even when its sore and trying to do some gentle exercise to keep the muscles moving a little.
  • Hi, um I have recently started being able to do full press/push ups. My trainer first had bee doing them against the wall. Then on my knees (in a box shape), then on my knees but in a straight line from my shoulders to my knees (hope that makes sense). We basically worked up to full ones. Dunno if that helps but its the…

  • Hey! My trainer swear by the plank, bicycle crunches, mountain climbers and leg lifts. These are the 3 basics we start every ab workout with. From there its pretty varied because he says that the abs, like all muscles get used to routine very quickly so if you keep the muscle guessing you get better benefits. Below is the…

  • I used to wear them years ago when I played competitive tennis. We had to wear them for matches and some training sessions - never had any problems. I always found them pretty comfortable. The ones we used to get had slits in the skirt bit so weren't at all restrictive.

  • Hey! I've been going through pretty much exactly the same thing for almost a month. Finally cracked it, this week. The best advice I can give is to try and change things up, change your eating and exercise. I was told that my plateau was probably due to my body getting used to what i was doing so you gott change things up…
  • Well a few weeks ago I would have said press ups (push ups) but now I think pull ups and tricep dips are worse!
  • Hi, I generally think a stir fry is a quick easy healthy diner. I generally do them with chicken and veg and in total it take max 15 mins. If I cant be bothered to stand over the cooker for a few mins I grab a chicken breast butterfly it to make it thinner so it cooks quicker. Anyways I add a tsp of low fat cream cheese,…
  • Hey I'm in the UK too, up north at the moment but a Londoner through and through. Lol
  • I often add them to a smoothie, which I really like but the skin does make the smoothie bitty. HTH
  • Hi, that's been going on with be for the last 3 weeks. I have gained and lost the same 5lbs. Last week, I had my plan changed: more intense workouts and a few changes to my food. I have a weigh in on Monday so wont know till then if this has worked. Got my finger crossed though! Sorry I'm not much more help.
  • I know the feeling well, to be honest I was thinking exactly the same earlier. What you need to remember, is that like you said, you're doing something about it! And that's what matters. You CAN do this. There's no point dwelling on the past, focus on the present and future! Losing weight is not easy but its not impossible…
