Just read this in an article: "Determining "shoe life" can be tricky especially since there are many "schools of thought" out there. Chances are high that if you notice tread break down, your cushioning is "going south" or if your shoes are older than 6 months (dependent though on your weekly mileage) you’ll want to…

I have fibromyalgia and have found weight lifting and swimming to be my friends. I still have flare-ups,but not as intense or as frequent when I'm working out regularly. Important to note, I life weights under the guidance of a personal trainer who knows my situation, so I don't injure myself. My doctor recommended…

I didn't read the other replies, so forgive me if I'm being repetitive. I was dx with fibro 11 years ago, so I completely understand the trials that come along with this debilitating condition. Here's what I would recommend to you (things that I do!): 1. EAT BREAKFAST!!! Even if you get up and drink a protein shake and…

I'm just finishing up week 10 and have lost about 30 lbs (but I have a lot to lose). I followed my plan to a tee, except allowing myself one high calorie meal a week. I LOG here on MFP religiously. And I try to drink all my water (half my body weight in ounces). Do you know how many calories you're supposed to be…

I don't know... Right now, in the early stages of my lifestyle change, I need MFP for accountability and encouragement. But down the road, when I'm more set in my routine, maybe not so much?? When I quit smoking, 9 years ago, I logged into the support website multiple times a day. Now I log in once a year on my anniversary…

I will be finishing a 10-week weight loss challenge next week during which I will have lost 30 lbs. I'm going straight into another 10-wk WLC and my goal is to lose 25 lbs. during that one. I start back to work on the day the next challenge ends (I'm a teacher) so it would rock to be down 25 lbs. over summer vacay!!

I use organic/natural products. "Kiss My Face" exfoliating cleanser on non-makeup days, and "Boscia" oil cleanser on make-up days. "Keihl's" body moisturizer. "Boots" organic rosewater toner. I'm still searching for the holy grail facial moisturizer....

^^^ This. Although, for my official weigh in at weight loss challenge meetings, I wear leggings, no undies, bra and tank top (as close to naked as I can be in public!!)

Great job! You look amazing!! How tall are you!?

Feel free to add me! Dx PCOS in 1994. Insulin resistant diabetic on 2550 Metformin, Januvia, and Lantus Solostar. Have lost 23 lbs. (of 170) on Herbalife plan since April 1st (I adjust it to be low-carb). Would love more friends!

100 calorie packs of Wholly Guacamole along with about 14 organic yellow corn tortilla chips. 240 Calories. You could use baby carrots or other veggies instead of the chips to make it lower calorie.

^^^ Yeah, what this guy said!!!
-
Yeah, I guess. His only hang up is that I don't live there. He said if I did, it would be different--he would be interested in pursuing an exclusive relationship with me.

I hope I can offer some encouragement... After 14 years of smoking a pack a day, I quit cold turkey on June 30, 2003. That's almost NINE years ago, if you're counting!! ;) I was HOOKED and for a long time after I continued to miss smoking (mostly the social aspect). I used a free website called QuitNet.com. Great moral…

I'm low carbing (NOT no carbing!) I'm diabetic and don't really have a choice, if I want to get healthy and drop weight. I try to stay around 120-130 carbs/day. Mostly from fruits and veggies, but I do have the occasional tortilla or use bread crumbs in a recipe, etc. Feel free to add me as a friend!!

Add me! Need to lose 160.

AMAZING!!! How tall are you?!

YUMMM! How do you make the roll-ups, please?? (i.e. what type of "bread" do you use?)

2 Cheesy Turkey Burgers, 3 cups steamed broccoli, 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 1/4 cup blueberries on top = 548 cal.
