I plan to lose 30 pounds, continue to provide free bicycles to all the neighborhood kids, be active in the leadership in the local bicycle club, and ride 2000 miles. I rode 25 today.

Cardio exercise is easy and the calories burned allow you to eat more. Try an easy pace recumbent stationary bicycle and graduate to a fat tired cruiser to start. You may find that you love it. It made all the difference for me.

family bicycling is a great answer. I lost 55 pounds, gained 12 back, and now am losing again. Bicycles are cheap and it burns lots of calories.

I gained 7 pounds over Christmas

Please sign me up. Thanks for your leadership in this challenge.

buy an exercise bike from the local resale shop (GoodWill in Texas). They are dirt cheap and will certainly work you out through the winter. Ask me how I know :)

Hey, Phitbits. Hope you are all doing great today. Just so you know, I am in teacher inservice training prior to the start of our new semester at East Texas Baptist University and my church decided to have Bible School this late in the summer. So, I am busy from can until can't. Not much time for exercise and I have not…

Jane, I'll be happy to help. I'll start Wednesday until you tell me to stop. OK?

As of Sunday evening in East Texas, USA it looks like the Phitbits are running in 3rd place. That is amazing and I am happy to be with you all.

Phitbits are ready. Thanks for your work.

Greetings from East Texas in the USA. I am Bill. Like Jane, I am an academic . I have been teaching computer science at the same small Baptist University for 29 years. I weighed 255 pounds just over a year ago and worked hard to lose down to 196 by November 2011. Since then, I am trying to learn to maintain and lose…

Can't wait. Go Phitbits.

I lost 55 pounds between July and December 2012. I am coming up on my 1 year anniversary of a new lifestyle and have kept it off. I do not eat such huge portions, eat more often, and ride a bicycle nearly daily. You have plenty of time.

you look great. Hope I do as well as you

I have a friend who is a jeweler and owns his own business. I can ask him later today and he could do it by mail when you are ready.

Great news. That happened to me back in December and I had not been less than 200 in 25 years. I am currently at 196 and having a real hard time going lower. You have got a plan and it is doable. Congrats!

Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna try it. I am up for anything tasty that even I can cook and doesn't blow the calorie limit.

We are averaging 5,124 calories per day and are in 4th place as of Oct 6. We are doing great and I love to see the movement of our team on the map. Keep after it, my friends, and try to step up if you can. We can do this!

I would tell him that you checked your work schedule and that 11:00 pm is too late and that you need to cancel. Then just don't make another date. You do not owe him any additional explanation beyond that. To be honest, we are not that young any more and 11:00 pm is past my bed time and we all do have to get up in the…

see, it works!

I am proud of you for taking control like that. Once you decide, you can always change it later. We can never wait until we are "perfect" to try to improve one's life. You go for it!
