  • Thanks for all the tips guys. I didn't realize how much I had consumed today until I started adding up my intake for the day. LOL I also did "google" it & found a calculator that tells you how much you need daily resulting from your activity & weight. It said 17, 8oz cups was recommended & I only did 16, so I'm good. :)
  • I LOVE Spangles, but it is just a small fast food place that is only in KS. When I eat there, I just put everything in seperately using the "generic" choices. Then once you put it in, you can add it to your meals for next time, then you won't have to put all the parts of the burger in 1 at a time.

  • I live in Kansas where it is also too hot to run without passing out from heat exhaustion. I swim atleast 3 or 4 times a week. There is a pool in my complex & it is something that I can do with my kids. One hr of swimming leasurely burn almost 500 calories.

  • That's the way I do it. I don't walk a dog, but I have a 15 minute walk to & from the parking lot to my work. There is a shuttle, but I choose to get to work early enough to walk it briskly. I log 30 minutes of walking every day, plus anything more I do.
  • I too am 5'10" & I am very dedicated in eating no more than 1200 NET calories a day. I have lost almost 8 pounds in 3 weeks & feeling great.
