  • hmmmm I mean I know even when you do the p90x program they give you a recovery week... maybe my body just needed a recovery week?
  • great! thanks!! let me know!
  • I know this is a closed group and I guess I am taking a chance ... I am getting married in Nov. (11/11/11) and looking for a group for support :)
  • I cant believe the amount of responses I have gotten to this .. its so overwhelming! Cheryl- Its so amazing to have the support of the community and its interesting to see everyones updates and daily diaries etc. I am super excited - my next step is to try and find a group to join!!! I need some people to push me to help…
  • I agree that by the time that I realize there is a group out there that I want to join its already closed!@!@# However I am finding it refreshing to just have more friends on my list!
  • I know - I am always so envious at all of the groups and such that I see everyone involved in! That has been a huge factor for me (finding the support) as well as the actual calorie counting support! I am so thrilled for this response!
  • thanks so much guys for all of your response so far!
  • thanks guys@ it is certainly 'discouraging' when you dont see the scale moving as fast as you would like - however it is certainly refreshing when you put clothing on and it suddenly fits 'bigger' or WAY better.... I am just happy that I found this program as it has certainly been a lifesaver!
  • to the statement about requesting information from a physician - I am not looking for a 'medical' opinion... I am a Registered Nurse and have regularly seen my MD for routine checkups etc (as much as a 27y.o should) I was more hoping for insight from other runners / c25k'ers who have done this before and measure their HR.…
  • if your HR peaks temporarily at that rate it doesnt seem like it would be too dangerous (barring you are not feeling any ill effects of this HR) ... with that being said ... if your HR is at this rate for extended periods of time . . . . DEFINITELY not good.
  • I think the most amazing part of this program is the fact that it is doable... I, like some of the other posters, start off my next session looking at the time that I have to run and I say to myself holy crap - I CANT do that! Then I do it .... and its like the next time it increases I say the. same thing.... When I had to…
  • I'd like to participate ... I have started the c25k 3 weeks ago - I am currently on Week 3 day 3 (this is my next day to do)... I do run inside though due to gym and time and the way my workouts are formulated.. would I still be able to participate?
  • Well... I am a little behind all of you - I am on Week 3 day 3 next (which will prob be tomorrow because tonight I do another cardio program) ... I have to say that this program has made be a believer.. I have NEVER ... (NEVER!) been able to run before and thus far doing this I have been able to follow it and stick to…
  • Interval interval interval... Every doctor, trainer and nutritionist all say interval training is THEE best method of losing weight... There is so much research to back that up too.. Plus since I've started the #s on the scale are moving more then ever!!!!
  • I unlocked everything! Sorry - I had no idea about this stuff since I am still new! ... Also -I have a New Balance HRM Fit + .... and as you can see by my diary (for the most part) i have not eaten the calories back completely (some of them but not all) .... I guess I also need to figure out just how much protein I need…
  • I'm in!!!! I need motivation to get to my goal weight by 11/11/11.... This can be a stop on my journey!!!!!! Id like to lose 20lbs in 13 weeks...
  • Destiny- I guess I just don't want to do any fad diet... I certainly know I didn't put the weight on overnight but I feel like in a month I should have lost an LB at least :(
  • I have been changing my workouts regularly... i dont do ANYTHING the same ... everyday at the gym I have been doing different classes or cardio.... how do i figure out what my default protein intake should be ... i am definitely ALWAYS below my CARB intake however I noticed my sugars are usually (-) by like 7 or 8.. for…
