Does he know you feel he is not be supportive? Try just talking to him about it first. He may be completely oblivious and change his ways once he knows it hurts your feelings.

I have a similar problem with my 11 year old. He is 5'3 and 146 pounds. His problem is he thinks this is okay! I am going through the EXACT same thing. I lost 2.5 pounds early on, now on week two I have put on 4 pounds! I don't know why this is happening. Let's stick it out a couple more weeks. Maybe our bodies just need a bit more time to realize we are serious.

That is exactly right! 4 pounds is great! Imagine if you had GAINED four pounds, you would think it was ALOT.... so give yourself the victory of the 4 pounds lost. Great job. Keep it up.

Totally agree. When I ran the half marathon I stratgically set certain songs for points I knew would be tough. Eminem lose yourself was on the 11th mile :)

I have a gym playlist. It includes alot of 90's rap :) I also like to listen to Mumford and Sons and the Killers while working out. Florence and the Machine song Dogs Days are over is fabulous to run to. What is on your playlist?

That has always been a problem for me. I think because I was taught as a child to finish my plate. I not only make an effort to leave a bite, I will never require my kids to clean their plates! Good for you for recognizing this! It will only help you in reaching your goals. Good for you.
