what does MFP say you should eat a day?
-
i started on MFP in 2011 and lost 70 pounds but then i started a job where i lived in camp and wasn't able to get reliable internet so i stopped logging. I kept up the workouts and watching what i ate for a little while but without coming on here and logging daily i lost the drive to keep up all the hard work. so needless…

yes this is definitely one of the little things but it made my day. i couldn't stop talking about it the whole time i was in the pool. lol
-
thanks! i guess there might have been others but i started at well over 300 pounds so 44 pounds lost doesn't show very much.
-
thanks everyone! this is the longest i have stuck to the healthy track and i am determined to make to my goal this time around!! the support at MFP is wonderful!

i am totally a creature of habit so i take the same thing 6 days a week every week. a turkey/roast beef sandwich with mozza on really nice grainy bread and a bag of grapes. i work as a traffic flagger so i don't always get to stop and sit down for lunch or breaks so my lunch needs to be something i can eat while standing…

i don't usually have a lot of time in the morning before work and i'm not a big breakfast person so i having been making smoothies for breakfast. 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup raspberries, half a cup of plain greek yoghurt and a half a cup of milk. gives me the energy to get my butt to work.
-
i am curious about people's suggestions regarding this as well. i started a new job that had me working away in camp where someone else cooked all the meals and got so frustrated trying to log that i gave up logging and eventually gave up trying to watch what i ate all together and ended up gaining back all the weight that…

i live in a rural area that is heavily wooded and work outside, taking apple cider vinegar is one of the only ways i can keep the bugs away from me. i can't stand the taste of it so i buy it in capsules.

mango soy milk tofu and liver, although i LOVE the smell of liver cooking. when i was a kid i would ask for a bite every time my parents had it for dinner because i loved the smell so much but nope still couldn't eat it. oh and quinoa. i have heard it taste wonderful and have made it but it soo looks like little sperm…

corned cougar. best wild meat i have ever had. bear roast is my second fav!
-
i workout at home on an elliptical so i just watch my favorite tv show. and i watch it online so that there are no commercials to bore me. it takes the guilt out of watching tv and keeps me distracted so that i don't get bored or tired of working out.

hey there! i too am on my second attempt here. i did really well the first time and lost 70 pounds but i started a new job and just didn't make the time to continue and have gained it all back and some more. i also have 100+ pounds to lose. would love some motivated friends.
-
best: in 99' my friend and i (who is on the heavier end aswell) dressed up as playboy bunnies of the new millennium. it was soooo good. worst: when i was in gr 7 i wore a borrowed home made fairy costume (with no wings???) and someone told my mom i looked like a tacky cocktail waitress. lol
-
wow, your progress so far is amazing!! you body is loving it's new life.
-
i am 6' tall so i have a long stride and have no issues with my nordic track.
-
i have a nordic track as well and i LOVE it. it is also a space saver so i can kinda fold it up and it takes up only like 3 feet. i can also buy an IFIT module that will allow me to hook wirelessly to the computer and do Jillian michaels workouts and such. i haven't done that yet as i am still getting an excellent workout…
